Nauseating Pictures of the Day
A “delegation” of Turkish students from the Agd Beyazit school in Istanbul on the Temple Mount several days ago. The sign reads: “Jerusalem is Islamic.”
And if that wasn’t enough, they took another picture:
Top line: “Jerusalem is Islamic”; second line: “it is the capital”; third line: the name of the school the students belong to.
Can you believe this?
Of course you can, the Muslims can do anything they want at Judaism’s holiest place. Standing in front of the Kipat HaSela, the very spot at which the First and Second Jewish Temples stood, Muslims from Turkey are free to hold up any banner they want.
On the other hand, if a Jew stands in the same place and holds anything in his or her hand, that Jew will be immediately arrested.
Absolutely nauseating.

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian “rock” and Molotov terror attacks on Israelis occurred at the Beitot Junction, Tapuach Junction, on the Temple Mount, Luban, Yakir Junction, El Aruv on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road, Qatma, Lubban al-Sharqiya, between Huwara and the Beit Hut Junction, north of the Beit Hayayot Junction, Itamar, Beit Furik, Curve 130 near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron, Kedomim, Jit Junction, Gilad Farm, El Khader, Efrat, Beit Kahil, and Wadi Hermiya among other places.
Three Palestinian terrorists were captured in Salem at the Samaria Military Court with IED bombs.
Continued fallout from the Netanyahu “recommendations” . . .
In what can only be described as a rare move, the Israel State Prosecutor’s Office blasted the Police yesterday for “inflating” the cases against Netanyahu, lying about information contained in the recommendations, and providing little evidence for the allegations.
The Prosecutor’s Office went on to castigate the Police for presenting highly “incomplete files” that were rushed to publication, and noted that before any action could be taken on the “recommendations”, the State Prosecutor’s Office would have to undertake its own investigation.
Meanwhile the Police who accused Netanyahu celebrate . . .
It turns out that Lahav 433 will be holding a huge celebration at Kibbutz Netzer Sereni in the coming days at a cost of tens of thousands of shekels.
When contacted about this yesterday, officials confirmed that the entire unit which consists of more than 1000 officers, along with their spouses, will ostensibly be celebrating the founding of Lahav 433. It’s Like Deja Vu All Over Again
Here’s your trivia question of the morning, dear reader: what do all of the following people have in common:
Former Minister of Justice Yaakov Ne’emen, Former IDF Chief of Staff Rafael Eitan, Brigadier General Avigdor Kahalani (hero of the 1973 war for stopping the Syrians on the Golan Heights), current President of Israel Reuven Rivlin, current Attorney General of Israel Avichai Mandelblit, current Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu?
Each one of these people was investigated by the Israel Police which then recommended that each one be indicted for alleged crimes.
What else do each of the above have in common?
They were all either not indicted, or indicted and then acquitted at trial. The simple fact is that Israel Police recommendations are notorious for leading nowhere.
By the way, the listing of PM Netanyahu above is not referring to yesterday’s police recommendations. Back in 2000, the Israel Police recommended indicting both PM Netanyahu and his wife Sarah.
The accusation was extensive. The police accused Netanyahu of accepting bribes, attempting to obtain by fraud, fraud, and breach of trust in the case of contractor Avner Amadi. The police sought an indictment of Sarah Netanyahu on charges of theft, and attempt to obtain by fraud.
Eventually, then Attorney General Elyakim Rubinstein decided not to indict the Netanyahus because of insufficient evidence.
Needless to say the police were incensed, and apparently have never gotten over Rubinstein’s decision not to indict. Now they have again rushed more cases to the Attorney General with insufficient evidence for an indictment.
As Yogi Berra once said, it’s like deja vu all over again.
