This is what happened, an Rx9 Hellfire U.S. missile fired from a drone.

Two high-ranking Al Qaeda Hurras al-Din operatives met their timely and bloody end near Idlib Syria yesterday courtesy of the above missile. The RX9 missile does not explode (in order to reduce collateral civilian damage) but rather deploys blades which swirl around and grind its target to death. It is nicknamed “the Ninja Sword.”

It is a weapon increasingly being used against Hezbollah and Iranian “operatives” in Syria and Yemen.

The News on the Israeli Street

The daily Corona update . . .

As of 9:00 am this morning (Monday), there have been 19,121 confirmed cases of Corona in Israel of whom 15,389 have recovered. 32 patients are listed in “serious” condition–included among them are 24 people on ventilators. 302 Israelis have died.

The number of Israelis infected continues to climb, but the important number of those in “serious” condition does not. It seems to have stabilized at the moment at around 35 patients. The even more important number of deceased also seems to have stabilized at an increase of about 1 or 2 per day.

The Education Ministry announced today that elementary schools will remain open until July 13 in order to make up for time lost when they were closed down.

Palestinian terror in the last 24 . . .

One scene in the Eshkol Region on the Gaza border yesterday.

Balloon explosions with resulting fires have ramped up again with Palestinian terrorists now launching dozens of incendiary balloons per day.

Meanwhile Palestinian terrorists throwing “rocks”, Molotovs, and IEDs struck Israelis at Bet Beit in Gush Etzion, Migdal Oz, Beit El, Mt. Hevron, Al-Aruv, near Elon Moreh, and in the vicinity of Ma’ale Shomron among other places.

The destruction continues . . .

This time near the fledgling community of Shahar in Binyamin where the Civil Administration accompanied by police arrived yesterday to destroy 5 homes and 6 more buildings including 2 synagogues.

It is simply amazing how what the Courts rule as “illegal Jewish construction” are continually destroyed while tens of thousands of illegal Palestinian buildings are left untouched and only grow exponentially.

Outright discrimination . . .

If you can believe this (and why not, because Israelis always cut our own throats), Finance Minister Israel Katz announced a provision yesterday to continue the VAT exemption that Palestinians and “human rights” organizations that support the Palestinians receive.

In short, Katz is calling for:

*Palestinians and foreign human rights organizations supporting them to pay 0% VAT tax on fuel.

*Palestinians and foreign “human rights” organizations supporting them to receive an exemption from having to pay a 49% surcharge on the cost of fuel.

Taken together, this means that Palestinians and the “human rights” organizations will pay 60% less than Israelis and Israeli charitable organizations have to pay.

For every 1 shekel that your humble servant has to pay for gasoline, the Palestinians and their friends only have to pay 40 agorot. To put it a different way, Israelis have to pay more so that Palestinians can pay less.

It is simply outrageous.

TODAY’S BLOG:

About The Incident In Hevron Two Nights Ago

To listen and watch the mainstream news, and read reports in the mainstream press, the events are clear.

A group of “terrorists”, all Jewish minors who are “settlers”, randomly attacked a peaceful young Palestinian man walking down Shuhada Street in Hevron near Beit Hadassah. From that point on, a video shows how a Golani soldier who was on patrol in the area came to the rescue of the Palestinian. You can see the video here.

Cut and dried.

Right?

Far from it. As it turns out, the “peaceful Palestinian man” was not so random after all.  As the IDF itself noted in a statement afterward:

“During the night there was friction between Israelis and Palestinians in Hevron, which included stone throwing and Molotov cocktails. The IDF forces that arrived on the scene dispersed the violent crowd.”

It turns out that the peaceful young Palestinin man was part of  the violent crowd that was dispersed.

It also turns out that the “settlers” were not “settlers” at all but members of a yeshiva for “at risk” young men. They were all from Kfar Saba who were in Hevron that night.

This morning, on the official IDF Facebook page are photos of a Golani soldier embracing a Jewish child in Hevron with the caption: “Love the Jewish settlement in Hevron.”

A few final notes.

The Golani soldier deserves the utmost credit for his brave actions in rescuing the Palestinian young man. He will likely be commended by the IDF.

Those who are attacking the Jewish young men in the media and in the police should think twice. Already the police have apparently arrested two of them this morning, but for what–because they were on the tail end of an altercation? What about the Palestinian provocateurs who apparently initiated the events?

One commentator, Yoav Eliasi described in a viral post yesterday how the left wing news media continues to vilify all Jews in Judea and Samaria. He wrote that:

for 2000 years, the Jews in Judea and Samaria were called “Jews”

after 1967, the Jews in Judea and Samaria became “settlers”

today as possible sovereignty/annexation approaches, they are called “terrorists.”
