The Quote That Should Have Halted The New Coalition Government

“I and my people are not Israelis but part of the Palestinian public.”

Mansour Abbas–head of the Raam Party upon whom the Bennett-Lapid Coalition depends–speaking to Jordanian television yesterday.

Can you believe that the government of Israel will now be depending on a man and a party who do not consider themselves Israelis?

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 48 hours . . .

Palestinian terrorists using Molotovs and “rocks” attacked Israelis at Singil, between the Zif Junction and Dickstein Monument, Luban a-Sharqiya, on Road 443 east of the Maccabim Checkpoint, near Beitar, Al-Aruv, on Road 465 beside Deir Abu Mash’al, west of Beit Haggai on Mt Hevron, and at other places.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on an Israeli car near Ein Kfir (close to Elon Moreh). Remarkably no Israelis were wounded; the terrorists escaped.

Speaking of terrorists . . .

They just keep dying in Gaza.

Today the Gaza Health Ministry announced that two more Hamasniks “were killed by the Zionist Occupation” in the recent war.

Who knows how many more frozen terrorist bodies are waiting to be pulled out of the ice locker in the basement of the Shifa Hospital?

TODAY’S BLOG:

What are you doing on Thursday?

In a surprising development, the off again-on again Jerusalem Flag March which was pusillanimously canceled a few weeks ago on Jerusalem Day is back on again:

The flyer announcing the march.

The flyer announcing the march.

As you can see, the event will be held on June 10 (Rosh Chodesh Tammuz) and will begin from the Nablus Gate.

Of course, all it takes is for Hamas to threaten to shoot a missile, and the March will be canceled again.

But in the meantime, what are you doing next Thursday? Why don’t you come to Jerusalem and join your humble servant and others demonstrating in the streets of our eternal capital?
