The Deadly Accurate Quote of the Day

“The IDF is restricting training in the Negev. In Jaffa, soldiers are not allowed to walk around in uniform. Jewish residents in mixed cities are called settlers. In Jerusalem, terrorist organizations do not allow marchers to wave Israeli flags. If we do not wake up quickly, our children will not have a state.”

Matan Peleg, chairman of the “If You Will” movement

The Nauseating Video of the Day

When it comes to our cowardly government, there is no longer a place for Jews on the Temple Mount.

If you have the patience, this is a link to what happened today when Knesset member Ben Gvir tried to go up to the Temple Mount.

Cracks are already beginning to appear mainly as a result of Benny Gantz. To begin with, Gantz went to Washington and without conferring with Naftali Bennett or anyone else apparently committed to return Israel to the negotiating table with the PLO. Secondly, Gantz is refusing to turn over control of managing the illegal Palestinian settlements in Area C of Judea and Samaria to incoming Justice Minister Gideon Saar as specified in the Coalition agreement.

TODAY’S BLOG:

An Israel In Retreat–Unable to Defend Its Sovereignty Anywhere

The Bedouins taking over the Negev; the PLO undertaking rampant illegal construction in Judea and Samaria; infiltrators coming across the Lebanese border almost daily; terrorists smuggling nightly along the Sinai border with Egypt; Hamas firing 5100 missiles into Israel and threatening to fire more.

There is no way to escape the idea that the country in these last days of the Netanyahu reign is falling apart at the seams. Israel does not seem to be able to defend its sovereignty anywhere and suddenly seems especially vulnerable.

While we can and do praise PM Netanyahu for the attention he called to the Iranian nuclear problem and marshaled Arab countries against Tehran--and for the way he has attacked the attempt by Iran to transport weaponry into Syria and Lebanon, the bottom line is that his obsession with Iran has caused him to drop the ball in almost every other venue.

Do you remember how we reported last week how two heavily armed Jordanians infiltrated the border and were captured by the IDF? And then, how the Jordanian government with unbelievable gall demanded their release?

Guess what?

Israel released the terrorists today and sent them back to Jordan.

Can you believe this? Of course you can; it is indicative the same craziness that is happening everywhere else in the country and characterizes an Israel in retreat.
