This is not a cartoon. It is a drawing contained in an UNRWA textbook being used in Palestinian classrooms.

The drawing above is contained in a chapter about how Jews are systematically going through Jerusalem, removing ancient “Palestinian” artifacts, and replacing them with faux artifacts containing “Zionist” drawings and writings.

Of course the drawing above is also exemplary of how the PLO incites that Israel is trying to undermine the Al-Aksa Mosque.

Interestingly, the above drawing came to light in Bild Magazine in Germany this week which published an article on how the EU has hidden a report that it commissioned about incitement in Palestinian textbooks.

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Israel’s elite undercover unit Yamam came under fire last night at a checkpoint in Jenin while on its way to capture a long-wanted Islamic Jihad terrorist.

In the ensuing firefight, 3 Palestinian terrorists were killed including 2 members of the PLO police and 1 member of Islamic Jihad. Two of the Yamam unit were wounded. The PLO has declared a day of rage throughout Areas A and B in response.

By the way, the wanted terrorist was captured.

Rumors of a major prisoner release . . .

By most accounts, Israel and Hamas are inching ever-closer to a deal in which more than a thousand Palestinian prisoners will be released in exchange for the body parts of two soldiers killed in 2014 and 2 more Israelis who entered Gaza on their own and were detained there.

One of the names unbelievably being floated as a possible releasee is arch-terrorist Marwan Barghouti who is serving 7 life terms for murder. One of those most adamantly against his release is PLO Head Mahmoud Abbas who correctly sees Barghouti as a threat.

TODAY’S BLOG:

The Flag Parade Fiasco, Continued . . .

Our pusillanimous Police Commissioner has now officially banned Knesset legislators Mai Golan and Itamar Ben Gvir from walking today from the Nablus Gate to the Temple Mount while holding Israeli flags.

He has even turned down a compromise proposal that would have permitted Golan and Ben Gvir to walk “alone” with a security detachment.

The reason?

Commissioner Kobi Shabtai declared that such a walk “could harm national security” and because of that even Knesset members would not have immunity from arrest.

The utter ludicrousness of this kowtowing to Hamas is further illustrated by the fact that the Arabs (as reported Tuesday’s blog) are going to hold their own march from the Nablus Gate to the Temple Mount at exactly the same time as the Flag Parade was to have taken place on the same route.

And the police are not going to stop them.

For what it’s worth, Ben Gvir has announced that he will go to the Nablus Gate at 5:00 pm to lambaste Commissioner Shabtai and the entire governmental apparatus that has caved in to Hamas.

Stay tuned for further details.
