Second Quote of the Day

“Defense” Minister Gantz has abandoned Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria as well as IDF soldiers on the ground. Jewish outposts are destroyed, and in return we are hit with increasing terror attacks. There is no law and no justice. Jewish community members are sitting ducks.”

Rabbi Yes Gabir

Gabir is exactly correct. Leftist Israelis have never learned that the more we give terrorists, the more they attack us.

The News on the Israeli Street

War in Judea and Samaria: Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Palestinian terrorists attempted to run over IDF soldiers at the Jalama Crossing this morning near Jenin. No Israelis were wounded. Two terrorists were shot and killed, a third was seriously wounded.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israelis between Itamar and Hetmar Shomron yesterday (see photo of the day above). One soldier was wounded in the leg and had to be evacuated to Beilinson Hospital. Those under fire included the head of the Yesha Council Yossi Dagan and his family:

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israelis in the direction of the Harsina neighborhood in Kiryat Arba. No Israelis were wounded; the terrorists escaped.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire at an IDF position near the entrance to Dotan. No Israelis were wounded; the terrorists escaped.

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli motorists on Road 55 near the Jit Junction in Samaria. One child was wounded and had to be evacuated to a nearby clinic.

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with Molotovs, IEDs, and “rocks” north of the Shiloh Junction, on Road 458 near Rimonim, on Road 463 beside the Post Office Junction, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Halhul, on Road 55 at the exit from Ponduk, on the Nabi Elias Bypass road, and at Azzun, among other places.

Palestinian terrorists wounded a 25-year-old pregnant woman when they assaulted her car with “rocks” at the Gush Etzion Junction.

Palestinian terrorists rammed a car south of Ofra knocking it off the road. Fortunately, no Israelis were physically wounded.

IDF, Shin Bet, and MGB fighters captured 16 wanted terrorists overnight in operations centered in Sa’ir, Shi’ah, and Jilzon.

It was revealed yesterday that Shin Bet and the Israel police have disrupted an ISIS terror cell in Nazareth. Six terrorists have been arrested.

Our “friends” in “moderate” Jordan . . .

Regular readers of OneIsrael know the disdain that your humble servant has for Jordan.

Yet another incident occurred yesterday when the Jordanian government refused to allow an Israeli triathlon team into the country to participate in an international triathlon competition.

Of course this is nothing new for a regime that prides itself for attacking Israel in every conceivable venue.

The Outrageous Maritime Agreement With Lebanon

For a number of days, your humble servant has been railing against the impending maritime agreement with Lebanon.

There is no need to recount all the reasons we came to this conclusion here.

However, more information has come to light in the last 24 hours which underscores just how outrageous the “deal” is.

The deal is nothing more than a giveaway to Lebanon. Israel gets nothing except the proceeds from the Karish natural gas field that we already have, and possibly, a miniscule amount from the Qana natural gas field that is “currently”, partially, in Israeli maritime waters.

On the other hand, Lebanon gets everything it demanded including all of the maritime territory between lines 1 (the northern Israeli maritime line) , and 23 (the southern line that Lebanon claimed)–see map below.  In other words, 860 km2 of sovereign Israeli territory will be handed over to Lebanon.

But wait, there is more.

Lebanon also gets all of the Qana field between Lines 23 and 29.

The giveaway is simply breathtaking.

Lebanon gets everything it demanded and more: all of the area between lines 23 and 1 in addition to the area of the Qana field between lines 23 and 29.

So, given the fact that Israel is getting nothing from the agreement, how are PM Lapid and “Defense” Minister Gantz trying to sell the deal to we Israelis?

Yesterday, we had Lapid arguing that “ceding natural gas reserves to Lebanon would help Lebanon become independent of Tehran, and ultimately curb the strength of groups like Hezbollah.”

Who is kidding whom? What kind of idiots does the cretinous Lapid think we all are?

Money coming from the gas field will go straight into the pockets of Hezbollah and will do nothing except provide more money for Hezbollah to buy more missiles to hit Israel with in the next war.

Lapid’s whopper was even outdone by “the humanitarian” Gantz who proclaimed: “At the end of the day, this is an agreement whose essence is economic – and if it is signed – we, Lebanon and its citizens who are suffering from a severe crisis, will enjoy it for years to come . . .”

Doesn’t this statement echo the absurd “anemones speech” that Gantz gave before the 2014 war with Gaza ended? In short, we have to give away our maritime territory to help the poor Lebanese citizens who are suffering from a severe economic crisis.

It is all absolutely flabbergasting.

And to think that this outrageous agreement is being agreed to by an interim prime minister of a transitional government who has absolutely no mandate from the people to agree to anything.
