Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours

From a “rock” attack at Deir Nizam in the early morning to a “rock attack at Ali last night, there were nearly 40 attacks targeting Israelis.

Palestinians threw Molotov firebombs attempting to burn Israeli motorists and worshipers alive at Betar, Rachel’s Tomb, and Azzun.

Palestinians threw “rocks” attempting to cause Israeli motorists to crash in Gush Etzion, on the Husan Bypass road, at Neria, Al Hader, Bikilis, Hizma, Mount Hazor, El Arub, Hawara, Wadi Joz, A-Tur (2 were wounded and had to be hospitalized), and Benjamin among numerous other places.

OMG, OMG, the Palestinians in Gaza are frustrated

At a press conference in Gaza yesterday, UNRWA let it be known that the Palestinians living in Gaza are increasingly desperate and frustrated.

And guess what? It is all Israel’s fault.

It’s the same old song with the same old threat of violence to go along.

About that huge underground wall to encircle Gaza

As you know, the government has declared that it intends to build a huge underground wall to stop terrorists from tunneling from Gaza into Israel. The wall would be equipped with various sensors which could detect digging noises.

This morning it was announced that the tunnel is on hold because all 13 companies that bid on the project proposed a cost that far exceeds what the government is willing to pay.

What your humble servant found most interesting is that one of the companies asked to submit a bid is from Turkey. Yes, this is the same Turkey that supports Hamas terrorists–particularly the Hamas terrorists in Gaza. That Israel would take a bid from a Turkish company defies imagination.

“No Israel at public campaign events”: Clinton campaign manager

No surprise here. Wikileaks reveals again the disdain for Israel within the Clinton campaign–and within Democratic ranks as a whole.

Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager responded to a suggestion that Clinton raise the issue of Israel as being an ally that she supports by saying: “We shouldn’t have Israel at public events. Especially [ones involving] ‘dem’ activists.”

Clinton agreed.

Israel’s Comptroller General General Blathers Nonsense Again

Israel’s ultra-left wing Comptroller General, Joseph “Sara Stole the Recycled Bottled Money” Shapira, issued various reports yesterday. Following up on his attempts during the last election cycle to bring down the Netanyahu government with such canards as recycled bottles, garden furniture, and take-out pizza, Shapira “determined” that the hideous V15 group did not operate in support of any party during that campaign.

Specifically, Shapira says that “there were no positive findings of an organizational connection between the V15 entity and any specific political party.”

Absolutely flabbergasting.

Especially since Shapira then said that it was true that V15 did sponsor messages that called on Israelis to “change the ruling party” and “encourage Israelis to vote for various blocks.”

Just plain unbelievable.

Of course, V15 worked openly for the Herzog-Livni ticket and received substantial money from abroad (read “the Obama Administration”) to do so.

For Shapira to claim otherwise is simply mind-blowing.

Then, in a crude attempt to balance his report, Shapira declared that Sheldon Adelson’s Israel Hayom newspaper was not a mouthpiece of Netanyahu and the Likud Party.

Except that Shapira didn’t actually say that. What he said was that “A determination that a particular news outlet focuses on assisting a specific party requires a review of the entire media apparatus and demands investigatory tools and research, some of which are not available to the state comptroller and the authority granted to him by law.”

Translated: “Give me more power!”
