The Wonderful Sight Of The Day

It has been Flag Day in Jerusalem, a day when tens of thousands of Jews have marched through the city waving Israeli flags, entered the Damascus Gate, and then paraded through the Muslim Quarter down to the Kotel (Western Wall). Flag Day celebrates the retaking of the Old City in 1967 and the establishing of Israeli sovereignty over the entire city.

Here are a few video clips from today which will exhilarate you:

From World Israel News.

From Arutz Sheva.

The Quote of the Day

“The reality on the Temple Mount is irrational, immoral, undemocratic and not Jewish. We will no longer tolerate the reality in which the Muslim rioters are doing what they want, and the Jews are experiencing a terrible reality.”

Yuli Edelstein, Knessset speaker speaking at the Knesset today on the occasion of Jerusalem Day

If only the government and the police would feel the same way as Edelstein: the  “terrible reality” is something that the Netanyahu government signed on to a long time ago. That “terrible reality” is Netanyahu’s “status quo”–a status quo in which Israel kowtows to Jordan and the Islamic Wakf.

Whether it was the removal of the metal detectors from the Muslim entrances to the Mount back in 2017, or the indifference to the Jordanians adding PLO members to the Muslim Wakf Council 4 months ago, or the permitting of a mosque to be formed at the Flower Gate a month ago, the Israeli government has proven itself to be no defender of Israeli sovereignty on the Mount.

TODAY’S BLOG:

What Has Happened To Israel?

Three cases today are so astonishing that even your humble servant is left shaking his head in despair.

Oft repeated scene in most sitcoms is a man levitra sale click here for more jumping through hoops to keep his partner happy. For more excellent information from Shepherd & Goldstein viagra free samples LLP, and Ed Nunes of TD Banknorth. Just Stop Watching Porn! This viagra soft tabs is mainly because alcohol, narcotics and cigarettes affect your nervous systems and block signals from the brain, which are responsible for sexual arousal, making your brain feel numb.
First, the Israeli High Court of Injustice has struck again.

Better named the High Court of Injustice, it stepped in to defend a BDS boycott activist–this time Omar Shakir. As you may not know, Shakir is a Palestinian-American citizen who is the “Israel and Palestine Director of Human Rights Watch.”

In April, a lower court ordered Shakir deported following the recommendation of the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Strategic Affairs.

However, following exactly the same sequence as followed last year with BDS activist Lara Al-Qassam, the High Court overruled the lower court–and decreed that Shakir cannot be deported until his case can be appealed.

That appeal will take place before the High Court of Injustice–which will undoubtedly find that the government cannot deport Shakir.

Just like it did with Lara Al-Qassam. You may remember that Al-Qassam claimed that she had changed her feathers and would not engage in political activities in Israel; she just wanted to be a student.

And what has Qassam done since the High Court allowed her to stay? Engaged in endless political activities against Israel.

Second, following the recent rash of fires caused by incendiary balloons from Palestinian terrorists in Gaza, guess what our insane government did?

For the first time in 12 years, the government allowed construction materials into Gaza which are expressly used for building tunnels.

What kind of idiocy is it that we give our enemies the tools to build tunnels from which they can attack us?

It was also announced yesterday that following Eid Al-Fitr, Israel will construct a new 161 watt power line into Gaza (to operate the missile launchers), and will allow a plethora of international “support” projects to begin.

It is simply beyond the pale.

Third, if you think the above two items are outrageous, it was revealed yesterday that PLO Intelligence Chief Majid Faraj is being treated at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv for an undisclosed health ailment.

This is the same Majid Farad who made a speech in Hevron a few days ago in which he said “We worship shahids and our prisoners in Israeli jails. We send greetings to the sniper who killed Shalhevet Pass.”

For those of you who don’t remember, Shalhevet Pass was 10-month-old infant who was shot to death in her stroller by a Palestinian sniper beside the Avraham Avinu neighborhood in Hevron on March 26, 2001. The sniper was subsequently caught, tried, and sentenced to three life terms. At his trial, he admitted that he deliberately targeted the infant.

And to think that the man who praised that sniper and who has organized numerous murderous attacks on Israeli men, women, and children is being treated at an Israeli hospital.

Omar Shakir, tunnel building materials for Gaza, and Majid Faraj: what has happened to Israel?
