What you are looking at in these photos are Palestinian terrorists using crude chemical weapons.

Where is the world’s outrage? Why doesn’t anyone care?

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

On the Gaza border:

As you can see from the breaking news ticker above, there was a missile attack in the Netiv Ha’Asara area at 9:21 pm last night. The missile apparently exploded on the beach beside the community. No one was physically wounded, but as always, multiple people were treated for stress.

You may not remember from previous blogs, but your humble servant has visited Netiv Ha’Asara many times–it is the closest community in Israel to Gaza. Residents there literally have 3 seconds to reach a bomb shelter after sirens go off indicating an incoming missile. As one resident told me, “it’s one, two, three, BOOM!”

In Judea and Samaria:

*20 wanted Palestinian terrorists were captured overnight–most of them in an IDF raid on Ein Arik near Ramallah.

*There were other terror attacks at Tapuach, Migdalot, Aqraba, Deir Kadis, and Luban a Sharqiya.

*A Palestinian terrorist attempted to blow up the military court in Salem with a pipe bomb but was thwarted at the last minute.

In Jerusalem:

It was disclosed yesterday that the Israel Ministries of Justice and Education are allowing a network of private schools connected to Hamas to operate in Jerusalem.

The Al-Iman Schools are funded by Turkey and teach hatred of Israel, incitement against Israel, and encouragement of terror on a daily basis.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Bravo Sagi!

Sagi takes down Mattatias Casse of Belgium in the final.

In a country yearning for normality and inclusion in the world of nations, it came as little surprise that the big story yesterday was not imminent war on the borders or the upcoming election. The big story was Sagi Muki winning a judo world championship.

Competing in the 81 kg and under division, the 27-year-old Sagi won 4 of his final 6 matches by ippon (the equivalent of a knockout).

The only downer in Sagi’s march to the gold medal was the Egyptian judoka refusing to shake hands after Sagi defeated him:

As Sagi (in white) walks across the ring with his hand outstretched, the Egyptian turns and walks away.

But let’s not dwell on that. For the first time, Israel has a world champion in judo!

Congratulations!

Congratulations! Sagi breaks down after winning the last match.
