The Utter Depravity of the Palestinians

Quote of the Day

“We will not agree to the establishment of a Palestinian state . . . This week I saw how the Palestinians relate to our heritage sites. I visited the Hasmonean palaces, a historical site with amazing findings proving the presence of Hasmoneans in the Jericho area, and I saw how the Palestinians are destroying our antiquities.

This reality of destruction exists on many sites throughout Judea and Samaria. I also visited the Hirbath Cemetery near Anatot and decided that my main mission in the heritage field would be to wage war against antiquities robbery in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem.

You should know that there is a deliberate hand here. The PLO wants to destroy the historical evidence of Jewish life that was here. The Palestinians destroy heritage sites in Judea and Samaria, the Temple Mount and Silwan . . . This is our heritage and this is our history and no one can destroy it.”

Rafi Peretz, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage, speaking in an interview yesterday on Israel radio.

The completely unknown flower in the photo above was discovered in the Netofa Valley in the Lower Galilee region. Named Lythrum netofa, the flower has been written up in the journal Phytotaxa.

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Palestinian terrorists started fires in numerous places yesterday. This is a photo of a fire that was set in the vineyard of Esh Kodesh, a Jewish community near Shilo:

If you look closely, you can see community members trying to extinguish the fire. Fires like this are being set almost everyday now in Samaria to try to burn out Jewish communities.

If you look closely, you can see community members trying to extinguish the fire. Fires like this are being set almost everyday now in Samaria to try to burn out Jewish communities which will supposedly become enclaves in “Palestine” under the Trump Plan.

On the Gaza border, explosive balloons set fire to fields in the Eshkol Region. Here is a grainy photo from yesterday:

At the same time, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza attempted to launch a missile from Beit Lahiya into southern Israel. Fortunately, it blew up in the launcher; at least two terrorists were killed and 4 more were wounded.

The daily Corona update . . .

As of 8 am this Shabbat morning, there are 20,339 confirmed cases of Corona in Israel of whom 15,586 have recovered.  39 Israelis are in “serious condition” and 29 of them are on ventilators. 304 Israelis have died.

As you can see from the above statistics, there is an ever-widening gap between those with confirmed cases of Corona and those who have recovered. The number of seriously ill patients has slightly increased overnight, and one more person has died.

Corona wards in hospitals around Israel which had been closed two weeks ago are now opening again. MADA was informed yesterday that no more Corona patients could be brought to Sha’are Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem because the Corona ward in the hospital is full.

On the education front, a good example of what is happening came from here in Ashdod yesterday. A substitute preschool teacher was diagnosed with Corona; as a result, 7 preschools in the city in which the substitute teacher had been in the last week were closed–and all the children confined to home quarantine.

Despite the above, the Education Ministry announced that all kindergartens and Grades 1-4 will now remain open until August 6. Also, the Health Ministry gave the green light to reopen all cultural activities–with limits of 500 people at each event.

Sovereignty/annexation news . . .

“Defense” Minister Benny Gantz is doing all he can to drag out the process of announcing sovereignty/annexation. The news from the IDF yesterday was that it will take “weeks” for the IDF to prepare for security on the ground and “months” for civilian preparation for all of the issues involved.

Horse manure. The IDF has had decades to prepare for this, and the Civil Administration has no problem destroying fledgling Jewish communities at the drop of a hat.

Meanwhile, unsurprisingly, three more U.S. Democrat senators (Schumer, Cardin, and Menendez) came out with a strong anti-annexation statement yesterday. The U.S. is going to hell in a handbasket with racial tension and Corona infections, and the Democrats focus on adding fuel to the fire in Israel.

Pure unadulterated horse manure.

The Utter Depravity of the Palestinians

Three barbaric murderers celebrated as heroes.

Three barbaric murderers celebrated as heroes.

The three you see pictured above were memorialized yesterday on the Balad website as “heroic martyrs” who were killed in a “British massacre.” The PLO held celebratory events for them in Areas A and B.

Who were they? Why are they deserving of such praise and glory?

On the night of August 24, 1929:

Atta Al-Zir used an axe to chop to death 69-year-old Rabbi Meir Shmuel Castel, the leader of the Hevron Jewish congregation (Castel’s family had moved to Hevron from Gaza in 1799 when Napoleon took the Gaza).

Mohammed Jamjoum took a knife and butchered 4 Jews at the Abu Shadid family home in Hevron including Eliyahu Abushadid (55) and his son Yitzhak (22) as well as Rabbi Yaakov Gozlan (45) and his son Moshe. In total, 69 Jews were murdered in Hevron.

Fuad Hijazi was involved in organizing the slaughter of 20 Jews in Tzfat (Safed). David HaCohen wrote this first hand account of the massacre: “Inside the houses I saw the mutilated and burned bodies of the victims of the massacre, and the burned body of a woman tied to the grille of a window. . . They slaughtered the schoolteacher, Aphriat, together with his wife and mother, and cut the lawyer, Toledano, to pieces with their knives. Bursting into the orphanages, they smashed the children’s heads and cut off their hands. I myself saw the victims.”

All three of these barbarians were hanged after being found guilty by a British court on June 17, 1930. They were buried in Akko (Acre). This photo was taken in the cemetery two days ago of Palestinian celebrations at their graves:

Stop and think about all of this for a moment.

These depraved butchers are national Palestinian heroes who are glorified year after year in song and literature. They are held up as symbols of exemplary moral character because they gruesomely murdered Jews.

How is it conceivable that an utterly depraved people with heroes such as these could ever be deserving of a state?

How can the nauseating world turn a blind eye to the virulently anti-Jewish core of the Palestinians?

How can Israel forget what happened when there were small Jewish enclaves such as the ones in Hevron and Tzfat?
