Corona is back . . .
Covid-19 has officially returned to Israel as of this morning with the coefficient of infection exceeding 1.0 for the first time in two months.
467 new cases were confirmed yesterday with a positive test rate of 0.7%.
Of course none of this comes as a surprise. Our idiotic government has relaxed all restrictions, is allowing Israelis to fly to “red” countries, and is permitting tourists in from everywhere.
To top it off, the vaccination campaign has stalled.

It has now been confirmed by both Israel and the United States that every time Israeli aircraft hit terrorist weapon and missile repositories, Iranian proxies are striking U.S. bases.
An interesting medical finding . . .
Research from Hadassah, Hillel Yaffe, Peda-Poria and Bar Ilan University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Harvard and Toronto University, shows that a “high BMI does not always increase the risk of heart disease.”
The study, published in Vascular Health demonstrated that “the risk of death from myocardial infarction was lower in patients with moderate-high overweight, compared with those who were underweight, normal (by BMI) or extremely high.” The findings confirm previous studies which identified what has come to be called “the obesity paradox.”
The data group was 125,405 men and women who were hospitalized with myocardial infarction in the United States in the years 2015-2016.
Again, the main finding: “People with underweight, normal weight according to BMI calculation and with extreme obesity were at increased risk of mortality during hospitalization after the infarction. This is while fewer patients with moderate-high overweight died after the heart event.”

From The Ridiculous To The Absurd

As you may be unaware, the latest blackmail money that Qatar pledged to Hamas in Gaza was $30 million dollars.
$10 million has already been transferred to the so-called “needy” in Gaza.
$10 million was paid to Israel for fuel which was then transferred to Gaza.
However, the last $10 million dollars has yet to be paid because it is money that is supposed to be paid to Hamas senior officials (aka the heads of its terror organization).
Because it has not been paid, Hamas has been . . . yawn . . . threatening to shoot missiles at southern Israel again.
Why hasn’t it been paid? Because PM Naftali Bennett has declared that no more suitcases of money will be allowed to go to Gaza, and no more direct payments will be allowed to go to senior Hamas terrorists.
So, what method has the sleazy Bennett come up with to pay the Hamas senior officials?
1. Qatar will transfer $10 million dollars to Egypt to pay for $10 million dollars worth of fuel.
2. Egypt will transfer the $10 million dollars worth of fuel to Gaza.
3. Hamas will not pay Egypt for the fuel.
4. Hamas will sell the fuel for $10 million dollars in Gaza.
5. Hamas will take the money and pay its senior terrorists (who will undoubtedly wire the money directly to their Swiss bank accounts.
And so it goes today in the land of milk and honey as we go from the ridiculous to the absurd.
