One of the worst cyber attacks against Israeli infrastructure has hit Israel this evening with multiple government ministry sites going down. It is suspected that the attack originated from Iran.

The daily Corona update . . .

5,816 new cases of Corona were confirmed yesterday bringing to 39,062 the total number of Israelis with an active case of Covid-19.

The positive test rate was 11.47%.

352 Israelis are in serious condition in hospitals with another 172 in critical condition on ventilators.

10,387 Israelis have died of Corona–9 since yesterday.

There is news from the Health Ministry this morning that the 6th way of Corona may be on the way–with several new variants just discovered in Israel. That, coupled with an increase in the “R” factor is cause for concern.

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Palestinian terrorists using “rocks” and Molotovs attacked Israeli motorists at Curve 160 between Hevron and Kiryat Arba, at the Pharmacy Checkpoint near the Cave of the Patriarchs, near Migdalot, near the Ma’ale Amos Junction, Beit El, Singil, El Bira, north of the T Junction in Gush Etzion, between HaOfakim and Beit Anun, Karmi Tzur, Negohot, and on Road 465 near Deir Abu Mashaal.

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli buses at Tekoa, in Hawara south of Shechem, and at Hizma.

Palestinian terrorists attacked an ambulance near the Haggai Junction.

Palestinian terrorists assaulted Israelis near Beit Hadassah and Beit Romano in Hevron.

We will have another update shortly concerning the massive cyber attack on Israel this evening.

Update: 3 am Israel time. Most ministries are back on line, but the successful attack serves warning of just how vulnerable Israel is to cyber terrorism. Even at this point, no one seems to know to what extent Israel’s military and security situation was affected.
