The News on the Israeli Street

The weekly Corona update . . .

4,635 new cases of Corona were verified yesterday bringing to 44,230 the number of Israelis who have an active case of Corona.

The positive test rate was 16.63%.

272 Israelis are in critical condition; 117 are on ventilators.

10,584 Israelis have died since the Pandemic began.

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Multiple terror attacks today:

A Palestinian terrorist from Gaza tried to grab a weapon from a female soldier at the Beit Hadar Junction near Ashkelon. The terrorist was killed Col. Eliav Elbaz who happened to be at the scene.

A female Palestinian terrorist rushed toward a soldier at a checkpoint at Hussein refusing numerous orders to stop. Soldiers had been warned in advance to be wary of possible suicide bombers. She was shot and killed. Click here to see the event as it unfolded. Afterwards, UN Envoy to the Middle East Tor Wenslan ludicrously posted that he was “shocked and disturbed by the killing of Palestinian women by Israeli security forces.”  Your humble servant wonders what Wenslan would have ordered his bodyguards to do if a possible suicide bomber was rushing towards him.

A Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab a soldier at the entrance to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron. The soldier was lightly wounded in the neck. The terrorist was shot and killed.

A Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab an Israeli in the Barkan Industrial Zone. The Israeli was lightly wounded. The terrorist was captured by a YSM force.

Palestinian terrorists throwing Molotovs, IEDs, and “rocks” attacked Israelis at Gilo, Ofra, HaOfakim, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road, and near Yitzhar among many other locations (thank you to Rescue Without Boundaries SSF for this reportage).

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on the IDF outpost on Mt. Gerizim near Shechem (Nablus).

Palestinian terrorists detonated an IED inside a gas cylinder beside Road 465 near Deir Abu Mash’al in an attempt to blow up a bus.

Palestinian terrorists drove through the a-Tahariya checkpoint south of Hevron. There is currently a manhunt underway,

Too little but better late than never . . .

Nine Palestinian terrorists crossed through a hole in the security fence in northern Samaria and were last seen (by security cameras) going toward Umm al-Fahm. Another manhunt is underway.

Our government Cabinet finally approved an allocation of 360 million shekels to fix the holes in a 40 km section of the security fence.

In the midst of all the terror . . .

Coalition member Meretz voted as a Party today that it wants the government to examine economic harm to terrorist families by punitive measures taken after a member of their family tries to murder Israelis.

In virtually every terror incident, the family knew about what terror attack was about to take place or abetted their family member.

And still Meretz wants to avoid economic harm to the terrorists’ families.

Just like the PLO which pays those families salaries.

Meretz head Nitzan Horowitz declared that Israel “should not infringe on Palestinian rights.”

Unbelievable.

Palestinians desecrate Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem . . .

Palestinians attempted burn the tomb as well as break it apart with hammers.

TODAY’S BLOG

The Coalition Moves To Embrace The Arab Joint List

This Coalition Government led by PM Naftali Bennett, “Defense” Minister Gantz, and FM Lapid will do anything to remain in power. The government is already wholly reliant on the Islamist Ra’am Party which–until Idit Silman resigned–gave the Coalition 61 seats in the Knesset.

Now the Coalition has 60 votes apparently–though it is not entirely certain that two of Silman’s colleagues would vote with it to defeat a non-confidence vote. So as we predicted several days ago, the lawyers for the Coalition are now engaged with lawyers from the Joint Arab List to support the Coalition in Knesset votes.

To demonstrate how far beyond the pale this is, the leader of the Joint Arab List, Ayman Odeh has just posted a video from the Al-Aqsa Mosque calling on all Israeli-Arab policeman to quit: “You are a shame to your families . . . I call on you to throw your weapons in their faces and tell them that you are not part of them!”

Again, this is who Bennett, Lapid, and Gantz want to join forces with.

There is no end to what this group will do to stay in power, and no end to their willingness to de-Judaize Israel.
