The Mortifying Video of the Day

Click below to watch a group of black-beret Palestinian “police” order an IDF patrol out of the market in Hevronand how the soldiers meekly comply. Afterwards, the IDF issued a statement that the patrol leader made “a mistake.”

The News on the Israeli Street

The daily Corona update . . .

7,683 Israelis tested positive yesterday (out of 22,350 tested) bringing to 36,387 the number of active patients in the country.

The positive test rate was 34.38%; the coefficient of infection rose was 1.46%.

117 Israelis are seriously ill33 are critically ill29 of these are on ventilators.

10,882 have died, none in the last 24 hours. This number is obviously false: the Health Ministry has not reported a death in 72 hours.

Relatively few Israelis are getting tested, but of those who are, more than 33% are testing positive. The number of seriously ill, critically ill, and on ventilators continues to creep upward.

The European Union strikes again . . .

If you recall, we have reported during the past few weeks how the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen has been wined and dined here in Israel. After receiving an honorary doctorate from Ben Gurion University, she was embraced by PM Bennett and FM Lapid in Jerusalem.

Just 4 days ago, we wondered here at OneIsrael “Why anyone from the EU– which has funded terrorists and terror organizations in Judea and Samaria to the tune of millions of Euros and which continuously builds illegal Palestinian communities–would receive such an honor is beyond comprehension.”

This morning von der Leyen repaid the Israeli kindnesses by announcing the resumption of EU “Aid Funds” to the PLO in the amount of 600 million Euros per year. Those Aid Funds will go directly to build illegal Palestinian settlements in Area C and to shore up the terrorist “security forces” of the PLO.

Israeli stupidity in embracing von der Leyen is incomprehensible.

The United Nations strikes again . . .

Yesterday came news that the United Nations Commission of Inquiry is going to investigate if Israel has committed or is committing “acts of apartheid against Palestinians.”

Navi Pillay, the Chairman of the Commission, issued this hilarious statement: “Whether apartheid is a matter of concern to the people of Israel and Palestine is something that we will investigate. We have not reached any conclusions on the matter in advance of the probe.”

What a joke.

We all know before any investigation takes place what the results will be.

Iran in turmoil . . .

Following the unexplained deaths of Iranian nuclear scientists and drone engineers–and the fleeing of two senior Revolutionary Guards leaders from Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards yesterday announced yesterday that the commander of the personal security unit in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, General Ali Nasiri, has been arrested on espionage charges.

TODAY’S BLOG

Biden’s List Of Demands

Just yesterday, your humble servant wrote about how our craven government is falling all over itself to obsequiously please U.S. President Joe Biden in advance to his visit here next month.

Specifically, I mentioned that the government has delayed the demolition of a terrorist’s home, increased the number of Palestinians allowed into Israel, and gone on a destruction rampage of new Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

This morning Bennett’s national security advisor Eyal Hulata confirmed exactly what I wrote and more in saying that “a senior U.S. official who visited Israel several weeks ago asked the government to refrain from demolishing homes, evacuating residents, and promoting construction in settlements and even to reduce IDF entry into Area A until after the president’s visit in July.”

Did you get all of those demands?

*refrain from demolishing homes (of terrorist murderers)

*refrain from “evacuating residents” (the illegal squatters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem)

*refrain from promoting construction in “settlements” (Jewish communities in Area C)

“reduce IDF entry into Area A (IDF forces only enter Area A in ‘hot pursuit’ of terrorists)

What unbelievable chutzpah.

Not only are we unable to punish terrorists, but also we cannot capture them if they run to Area A after committing terrorism.

And not only are we supposed to ignore our own Supreme Court’s orders to evacuate squatters from homes they illegally took over, but also we cannot build in our own communities in Area C.

It is just incredible.

And even more incredible is that our government is going along with the demands and even expanding them.

Yesterday we noted that the tiny Noam Sheikh community near Adi in Binyami had been razed. This morning comes news that Mitzpe Rina in Ma’ale Lavona has been destroyed again as has Givat Ohavei-Yeh in Gush Etzion–bringing to six the number of fledgling communities destroyed in the last two weeks alone–in order to appease the Americans.

There is apparently no end to what Bennett, Lapid, and Gantz will do in order to ingratiate themselves with the American administration.
