As regular readers of OneIsrael know, we do not publish a blog on Shabbat but instead post 5 photos for you to peruse.

This campaign sign from the Otzma Yehudit Party of Itamar Ben Gvir contains the Rosh Hashana blessing “May our enemies depart”. The sign features the photos of three members of the Joint Arab List Party: Ayman Odeh, Ahmed Tibi and Ofer Kasif.

In response to criticism of the sign, Ben Gvir replied: “I intend to act to realize the blessings that every family will say on Rosh Hashanah. Odeh, Tibi, Kasif and the other supporters of terrorism from the Arab parties in office in the Knesset are enemies of the State of Israel, and they have no place here. Their place is in Syria.”

Precisely so.

Arch terrorist Mahmoud Abbas at the United Nations.

In case you missed it, PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, the same Abbas so warmly embraced by Lapid, Gantz, and Bennett, lambasted Israel again at the U.N. two days ago–using the same language he used in Germany last month for which he was so roundly criticized: “Israel has committed 50 massacres since 1948.”

During his speech, he held up one fake photo after another including a page from the New York Times which purported to show children killed by Israel in the May 2021 war with Gaza. Most of those pictured were actually killed by Hamas who was using them for shields.

You might ask what the above photo has to do with Israel; however, reports are that the new military conscription orders issued by Putin may bring as many as 25,000 Russian draft dodgers to Israel.

stranded

“Stranded” on the top of Masada yesterday. Note the base of the non-operating cable car at the upper edge of the photo and the Dead Sea upper right.

Well sort of. It seems that the Masada cable car malfunctioned and waterless attendees of the 64th Conference of International Judges had to be “rescued” by MADA. Actually, based on the photo, it appears that many just walked down.

iran missile

New weapons to use against “the Jews.”

These new Rezvan surface to surface missiles equipped with fragmentation warheads and with a range of nearly 2000 kilometers were paraded in Tehran yesterday.

On that unhappy note, we wish you a:

Shabbat Shalom!
