The Gaza War: Day 151. . . The War in the North

UPDATE 5:00 PM

In the last 9 hours:

*An Israeli was stabbed at the Large Yitzhar Junction. His condition is critical. The Palestinian terrorist was killed.

*A missile fired from Lebanon hit a home in Kiryat Shmona. No Israelis were wounded.

*Reuters reports that the hostage/ceasefire talks in Cairo have “collapsed.” To no one’s surprise. There is the the growing realization here in Israel that most of the hostages may be dead as HamIsis adamantly refuses to provide a list of living hostages. Let us pray that is not the case.

*Just like Egyptian and Jordanian airdrops in the past week, the latest airdrop of “humanitarian aid” by the Americans missed its mark:

Washing ashore on the beach at Zikim. Other photos and videos show the "poor starving" Palestinians taking American "aid" packets and throwing them in the garbage.

*The IDF reports that an attack on the Hamed neighborhood of Gaza by Division 98 resulted in the capture of 1200 terrorists including 85 which carried out the massacres on October 7th, and the destruction of 20 km of tunnels.

*In yet another miscarriage of IDF military justice, a military court refused to sentence the Palestinian murderer of Captain Eliav Gelman in 2016 to life imprisonment. Instead, he was only sentenced to 30 years in prison because the court found that he was “mentally ill.” One might well describe all of Palestinian society as “mentally ill.”

The Graphic of the Morning

Sderot was targeted by incoming missiles at 4:51 pm yesterday afternoon.

Sderot and the surrounding area was targeted by incoming missiles yesterday afternoon.

It was just two days ago that the IDF proclaimed once again that it was safe for residents to return to Sderot, and safe for children to return to school. Yesterday we had the scene of Sderot students running to bomb shelters, again.

It would appear that 151 days into this war with Palestinian Gaza nothing has changed.

UPDATE 9:00 PM

Ramadan Absurdity After Ramadan Absurdity

In order to supposedly appease the Palestinian population in Judea and Samaria, the IDF and police have been steadily releasing Palestinian terrorist detainees over the past few days. These are terrorists who have been arrested but not yet indicted.

It should be noted that no Jewish detainees (not accused of any crime) have been released.

If this absurdity is not enough, it was announced yesterday that IDF soldiers will distribute “decorated food packages to the residents of Gaza” to help them celebrate Ramadan. The packages will contain sweets to help the residents break their fast each morning.

Your humble servants wants to throw up.

The Gazans pass out sweets every time that Israelis are murdered, and we pass out sweets to them to celebrate Ramadan.

Just sickening.

But Not Nearly As Sickening As Necrophilia

Five months after October 7, the report from Premila Patten, a representative of the UN Secretary-General, about the sexual violence perpetrated on October 7 was released.

The report details evidence of rape, gang rape, rape of corpses, mutilation of women, nudity and tying up of corpses.”

Rape of corpses. Necrophilia.

The report also notes that “there is clear information that the abductees in Gaza have been subjected to sexual violence and that “this is still happening.”

Speaking of October 7

Yesterday, the IDF published recordings in which UNRWA members discuss taking part in the slaughter and even refer to having kidnapped hostages and brought them back to Gaza.

In the recordings, they refer to the female and child hostages as “saba’iya” which means “slave-property”.

In addition, the IDF reports that more than 400 UNRWA employees are affiliated with terror organizations in Gaza.

More HamISIS Fraud

After 150 days, a Palestinian HamISIS leader yesterday claimed “we still don’t know  how many of the hostages forced to Gaza in its October 7 attack on Israel are still alive.”

What a sick statement.

Meanwhile in the North

The northern border and Galilee region were hit with a barrage of more than 30 missiles yesterday which knocked out power in Nahariya, Shlomi, and communities south of Nahariya including Ragaba, Nes Amin, and Shevi Zion.

In one attack near Margaliot, 1 foreign worker was killed and 6 more foreign workers were badly wounded when they were hit by an anti-tank missile.

From the IDF spokesperson late yesterday:

“The IDF attacked a series of targets in Lebanese territory in response to launches towards Margaliot this morning.

A short time ago, fighter jets attacked a series of targets of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the areas of Bint Jabal, A-Saltaniya and Tzadikin in response to launches towards the Margaliot area this morning. Among the targets attacked were military buildings and a military headquarters used by the organization.”
