UPDATE 9:00 AM

A fierce late winter storm with hours of unremitting lightning, thunder, and downpours has socked Israel and made life even more difficult for our soldiers in Gaza.

On the Ground in Gaza

Despite the weather, the IDF has carried out extensive and intensive attacks in Gaza in the last 12 hours:

*Continuous fire continues at the entire Shifa compound. Yesterday the HamISIS Interior Ministry Operations Chief Fa’ak Mabhouh was killed in a firefight inside the hospital.

As we already reported yesterday, Staff Sgt. Matan Vinogradov was killed in fighting around the hospital–the 250th IDF soldier to fall in the Gaza ground operation.

*The U.N. headquarters in Shifa were specifically attacked with infantry and artillery fire; a number of HamISIS casualties are reported. In total at Shifa, more than 20 terrorists were killed and more than 50 more were captured. There are still believed to be dozens of more terrorists inside.

Some of the terrorists captured at Shifa yesterday.

Some of the terrorists captured at Shifa yesterday while the sun was still shining.

*An UNRWA warehouse in Jabaliya was destroyed.

*The IDF hit 3 targets in Nuseirat in less than half an hour.

*The IAF hit buildings in Rafah; the Arabs report 14 were killed.

*An attack was carried out against a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.

*Prolonged artillery shelling at targets in Zeitoun, Jabaliya, Al-Bureij, Al Carrara, Al-Azara’a, Al Mugraqa, and areas west of Gaza City.

*There was an attack on a terror squad in the Yarmukh area of Gaza City. A number of terrorists were killed.

*Tunnels were targeted in Deir Al-Balach.

The Battle in the Red Sea Continues

U.S. Centcom reported yesterday:

“American forces operated successfully and destroyed 7 anti-ship missiles, 3 UAVs and 3 weapons storage containers in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen. These weapons posed an immediate threat to merchant ships and ships US Navy in the area.”

From One Sleazeball To Another

Convicted felon and former Israeli PM Ehud Olmert sent a letter to Senate leader Chuck Schumer (aka Chuck the Shmuck) yesterday congratulating him on his disgusting speech concerning PM Netanyahu, our government, and how the U.S. should dictate policy to Israel.

In Olmert’s words:

“Indeed, the Prime Minister of Israel is not worthy of the responsibility placed on him. Thank God we have friends who have the honesty to say what needs to be said.”

The absolute obsession that Olmert and his friend and fellow sleazeball Ehud Barak have with trying to destroy PM Netanyahu would almost be funny were it not for the danger that they pose to Israel.
