UPDATES 6 pm Israel time:

–>Palestinian terror yesterday (Tuesday).

*Two IDF soldiers were wounded by a roadside bomb that exploded in Qalandiya.

*Three Palestinian terrorists were captured with pipebombs at the Oranit checkpoint in Samaria.

*”Rock” attacks occurred at/in/on the Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem, Kedumim, Efrat, Abu Dis, Al-Khader, Hawara, the Hawara-Anatot Road, Beit Anun, and Shuafat.

*Molotov firebomb attacks occurred at A-Ram and Issawiya.

*Full scale riots occurred in Issawiya, just outside of Bethlehem, Wadi Haramiya, and Migdal Oz.

*A missile launched at southern Israel at 9:25 pm from central Gaza fortunately exploded on the Gaza side of the border fence.

–>Another absurd ruling from the Israel Supreme Court.

This time, the Court ordered that the homes of two Palestinian terrorists who were involved in the murder of the Na’ama and Eitam Henkin last October NOT be destroyed.

And why not? The Court said that all they did was to provide money for and plan the attack that left the young couple shot to death on the highway between Itamar and Elon Moreh. The Court said that they were in the “second circle” of terrorism.

All they did was to provide money for and plan the murder?

–>Herzog raises a storm of protest from his own party and others on the ‘Left’.

Speaking yesterday at a conference called to address the tunnel threat to southern Israel, Herzog said that his political party will never be chosen to lead the country until Israelis stop thinking that “we [members of the Herzog-Livni party] are lovers of Arabs.”

Of course, that is exactly what Israelis think because that is exactly what the Herzog-Livni party members are. The party favors the interests of the Palestinians over Israelis every time.

–>The IDF has a new plan for defending the citizens of southern Israel.

At the same conference referred to above, Southern Command Gen. Eyal Zamir revealed how the IDF now plans to protect citizens of the south in the event of another war with Hamas.

And what is that plan?

Evacuation.

That’s right; instead of wiping out Hamas, the IDF plans to evacuate whole kibbutzes, moshavs, and even Sderot.

Amazingly pathetic.

In response to Zamir’s statement, Sderot mayor Alon Davidi defiantly declared that no one would evacuate Sderot because its citizens would refuse to go.

–>The rally for the Hevron soldier last night in Tel Aviv.

telavivrally

Thousands of supporters of the Hevron soldier met in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv to hear speeches and sing songs in support of the soldier.

This came a day after “Defense” Minister Ya’alon once again castigated the soldier–this time incredibly suggesting that his mentality was like those involved with Islamic State.

After that comment, many Likud party members commented that Ya’alon’s days in the Likud party are numbered. They said that he would never be able to be elected in Likud primaries again because of the egregious way that he has thrown the Hevron soldier under the bus.

–>More blather from PM Netanyahu.

Netanyahu had the brazen gall to send this Passover message to the heads of the Yesha Council yesterday:

We build and develop the country without respite. My friends, I admire your ability to maintain a daily routine in times of tension like these.”

What hokum.

“Build without respite?” This is the same Netanyahu who ordered all construction in Judea and Samaria halted last week.

“Admire the ability to maintain a daily routine in the face of continuous stabbing, shooting, Molotov, and “rock” attacks?” This is the same Netanyahu who described in a Cabinet meeting yesterday how the government is continuing with its plan to withdraw the IDF from Area A–thereby leaving Israeli civilians in Judea and Samaria even more defenseless than they already are.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Israeli leftists as well as the leftist Israeli media have spent the day decrying what they call the “racist” posters that appeared at the rally last night for the Hevron soldier.

Today’s blog merely consists of photographs of a representative sample of those posters (taken by people who were there). Your humble servant encourages you to decide if these posters are “racist” or not.

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “Ya’alon is not for our taste, is not on our side, and is not for us.”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “We don’t abandon brothers.”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “We love the IDF; Release El-Or!”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “The soldiers were tried without a trial : release them immediately.”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “Kill a terrorist; don’t neutralize him!”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “Release El-Or our soldier to his home at once!!”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “Every Palestinian who comes to slaughter Jews must be killed–the soldier did nothing wrong. Mr. Ya’alon, you have failed.”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “Soldiers should not neutralize terrorists; they should terminate them.”

And another:

This poster reads:

This poster reads: “If we do not protect our soldiers, who will protect us?”

And the last one:

This one reads:

This one reads: “El-Or the hero. Why don’t they investigate the vest–that’s the proof that he is innocent.”

So again, you make the call, dear reader. Are these posters racist or not?
