UPDATE: Islamic terrorist Hamas sentences Palestinian to death by firing squad for “collaborating” with Israel. Iranian nuclear scientist assassinated in Tehran.
On Monday, American authorities arrested yet another Muslim–Sami Osmakac, a 25 year old naturalized American citizen from Kosovo– and charged him with planning to blow up nightclubs and a sheriff’s office in Tampa, Florida.
Yet once again, in what has become a tired politically correct pattern, American authorities–at the urging of CAIR, the virulently anti-Israel ‘Council on American-Islamic Relations’—have rushed to defend the Tampa Muslim community because according to CAIR and the authorities, the Muslim community provided law enforcement with information about Osmakac’s militant views.
What unadulterated nonsense.
How do we know about Osmakac’s ‘militant’ views? Not because of any heroic effort by the Tampa Muslim community but because Osmakac has continually engaged in violent confrontations on the streets of Tampa and posted numerous videos online in which he rails against Christians and Jews–during which time the Muslim community presumably said and did nothing. These videos are readily available to anyone.
In fact, in each of the videos that your humble servant has watched, Osmakac continually quotes from the Koran and goes to great length to call attention to the Koran’s many scriptures which condemn Christian and Jewish infidels. Yet not surprisingly, a CAIR spokesman said yesterday that Osmakac “did not appear to know much about the Koran’s teaching.”
Just the contrary.
Osmakac seems to know the Koran very well and to have immersed himself in its scriptures. And CAIR knows how to dissemble on a grand scale.
STUPID QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“Christ never said: Israel arm yourself, arm yourself to the teeth.”
This gem was uttered by Daniel Ortega in Managua, Nicaragua yesterday on the occasion of his second inaugural. Ortega went on to say that the problems of the Middle East would vanish if Israel would just dispose of its nuclear weapons. Ortega’s nonsense was spoken while he was standing beside his good friends Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad–both of whom joked the day before about having nuclear weapons.
THIS DAY IN ISRAELI HISTORY
On January 11, 1932, American President Herbert Hoover issued the following statement to the American Palestine Committee:
“I am interested to learn that a group of distinguished men and women is to be formed to spread knowledge and appreciation of the rehabilitation which is going forward in Palestine under Jewish auspices, and to add my expression to the sentiment among our people in favor of the realization of the age-old aspirations of the Jewish people for the restoration of their national homeland.”
