UPDATES

10:30 pm Wednesday, October 14 2015

(final update of the day)

SPECIAL NOTICE: Please note that because of the sheer number of terror attacks, today’s blog will continue to be devoted to updates.

10:30 pm Wednesday: In the three hours since our last update, fire crews have been attacked in Kafr Qasim; Israeli motorists were attacked on Road 443 and at Kiryat Arba; and two Palestinian terrorists from Jenin were caught trying to infiltrate into Israel.

In addition 27 Israeli residents of eastern Jerusalem have had their resident cards revoked, and the IDF has decided (at long last) to erect a security fence along the Gaza border.

7:29 pm Wednesday: Palestinian terrorists carry out drive-by shooting at police officers at junction in Gush Etzion. No officers wounded–search is on for the terrorists.

6:38 pm Wednesday: Palestinian terrorist stabs two Jews including an older woman at the Jerusalem Central Bus station. The terrorist then tried to board an Egged bus but was killed. The woman is in critical condition with stab wounds to the chest.

5:03 pm Wednesday: Attempting stabbings on Fig Street in Jerusalem. Terrorist captured.

4:27 pm Wednesday: Two terrorists with knives captured in Rishon LeZion.

4:19 pm Wednesday: Palestinian terrorist shot dead at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. Terrorist was wearing a military camouflage uniform and began to attack with a knife, but was identified by alert Border Guards.

1:42 pm Wednesday: Palestinian terrorist throwing Molotov at IDF troops in Hebron set ablaze by his own Molotov.

8:00 am Wednesday: Israelstreet is taking the unusual step of posting a particularly gruesome video of the bloody attack yesterday on King’s Street in Jerusalem (click here). If you are able to watch the video (you may need to be a Facebook member), be sure to watch it all the way to the end.

You will see how the terrorist (an employee of the Israel Bezeq telephone company) crashed his car into a bus stop, jumped out with a meat cleaver and began chopping victims to pieces, was shot by a bystander, tried to hit the bystander with the cleaver, and still tried to stumble away before being shot again.

It is video record of the sheer Palestinian barbarism which now has enveloped Israel.

7:00 am Wednesday: We have awakened to the ludicrous news that John Kerry–who just negotiated the Democratic Iranian Nuclear Appeasement Agreement–will soon be arriving here to stop the violence. This is the same Kerry who went out of his way last night to outrageously blame Israel for all of the Palestinian violence:

“What’s happening is that, unless we get going, a two-state solution could conceivably be stolen from everybody. And there’s been a massive increase in settlements over the course of the last years, and now you have this violence because there’s a frustration that is growing.”

Unbelievable and a complete fraud continually disseminated by Kerry. Moreover, t’s funny how not one single terrorist has mentioned the word “settlement”–they all refer to the alleged Israeli provocations at the Al-Aksa Mosque–alleged provocations incited by Kerry’s friend Mahmoud Abbas.

6:00 am Wednesday: A medical update on some of the victims of terror attacks in the last two days:

From the terror attack at Government House in Jerusalem, the 76-year-old stabbing victim underwent surgery last night at Hadassah Hospital–condition remains “critical”; the 69-year-old wounded in the same attack is in “moderate condition” after being operated on–at last report he was stable and conscious.

From the terror attack on King’s Street in Jerusalem, the 79-year-old stabbing victim is conscious but in “non-stable condition.”

From the terror attack at Pisgat Ze’ev, the 21-year-old remains in critical condition and sedated; the 13-year-old who was stabbed remains in critical condition and sedated–though he briefly awoke last night.

5:25 am Wednesday: There were 66 reported Palestinian terror attacks in Israel yesterday. Aside from the stabbings and shooting reported, Israelis were wounded at Rachel’s Tomb (by IEDs), at Sinjil (by “rocks”), at Kiryat Arba (“rocks”), Sussia (car accident caused by “rocks”), and  Anatot (bus driver hit by “rocks”).

5:00 am Wednesday: Parent groups in Jewish schools in eastern Jerusalem have announced that their children will not be attending school today.

10:00 pm Tuesday: After the extreme violence today, a number of new security measures have been put in place tonight:

1. Palestinians will not be allowed into Beitar Illit or Gush Etzion.

2. Checkpoints will be put up around some neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem.

3. Israel residency of terrorists and their families will be revoked.

4. Israel citizenship of Israeli-Arabs involved with terrorism will be revoked.

5. IDF will be deployed in urban centers and around public transportation locations.

Your humble servant doubts that any of the above will have any effect on the violence.

The next israelstreet update will come at 8 am tomorrow morning unless the situation warrants.

9:31 pm Tuesday: Young Jewish woman wounded in “rock” attack near Hebron. Terrorists escape.

5:57 pm Tuesday: Palestinian terrorists in Gaza attempt to kill Israeli officer on the border. Sniper fire into his jeep narrowly misses.

5:05 pm Tuesday: Palestinian terrorists attempt stabbing at Migdal Hemek. Alert gas station attendant thwarts attack.

5:00 pm Tuesday: For the second time in three days, dozens of Palestinians have breached the Gaza border fence and infiltrated Israel. The IDF appears powerless to stop these attacks.

3:00 pm Tuesday: Thus far today, three Israelis have been murdered by Palestinian terrorists and more than 20 more have been wounded.

12:25 pm Tuesday: Israeli stabbed in Kiryat Ata. No further info.

10:30 am Tuesday: Another Palestinian stabbing attack on King Street in Jerusalem. Rabbi Yeshayahu Krichevsky stabbed to death.

10:11 am Tuesday: Palestinian terrorists board Bus 78 in Jerusalem, lock the doors, and open fire on passengers. In the carnage that followed, at least 2 were killed, 7 wounded (many critically). Both terrorists shot–one killed, one seriously wounded.

9:24 am Tuesday: Palestinian terrorist stabs Israeli in Ra’anana. Victim in “moderate” condition with multiple stab wounds to neck and chest. Terrorist neutralized.
