TODAY’S BLOG:

Another Missile Attack This Morning That Didn’t HappenĀ

Here is how crazy, yet normal, Monday morning has been in Israel . . . so far.

At 6:28 am, everyone who has a tsava adom app (an app that indicates incoming missiles) was awakened by the sound of buzzing on her or his telephone.

However, the people in Zone 219 on the Gaza border in the Sha’ar Hanegev region were awakened by screeching sirens and sent running to their bomb shelters.

About 15 minutes later, the IDF announced, as usual, that it was a false alarm in the sense that the missile had exploded on the Gaza side of the border fence.

About an hour after that, the IDF announced, as usual, that it had struck two Hamas “infrastructure” targets in retaliation for the missile fire on southern Israel.

Except that, remember, according to the IDF, the missile did not hit Israel.

So what is the bottom line?

A missile was fired out of Gaza toward southern Israel. It exploded in Israel. The IAF bombed a few sand dunes in Gaza in retaliation. Case closed.

Except for the 6,000 Israeli children, women, and men who liveĀ in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council area who were traumatized by yet another Palestinian terror attack.

No one ever remembers them.
