TODAY’S BLOG:

SATURDAY SNIPPETS

*The Grand Master of the Stupid Comment . . .

. . . must be outgoing U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry.

Still fishing for a Nobel Peace Prize, Kerry blathered this yesterday: “I am continuing my efforts to save Aleppo from total destruction.”

What universe does Kerry live in?

Have you seen a picture of Aleppo lately? The Russian and Syrian air forces have bombed it into oblivion. It is totally destroyed.

It also useful to remember that it was Obama and Kerry who decided years ago to abandon Syria.

Speaking of stupidity, UN Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini . . .

. . . runs a close second to Kerry. Her statement yesterday, also about Syria:

Consequently, free cialis sample the sexual life between the two people becomes quite enjoyable. Due to the http://respitecaresa.org/viagra-3462 buy cheap viagra rising steeply, many individuals have been able to enjoy multiple orgasms with its use. These herbs are very powerful when it comes to ED problem, it has no linked with low price cialis age and intensity of blood sugar level. But in this case I found it rather strange this generika viagra cialis guy was in such close proximity.
“The European Union will act quickly in order to limit Syrian individuals or entities supporting the regime, as long as repression continues.”

What a pathetic joke. It looks increasingly like Assad, Iran, Russia, and Hezbollah have won. The Assad regime is not going anywhere, EU sanctions or not.

Speaking again of the U.S. Secretary of State . . .

. . . your humble servant had hoped that Rudy Giuliani would follow John Kerry. Giuliani is a dear friend of Israel and a true American patriot.

So, I was disappointed this morning to discover that Giuliani has removed his name from consideration. It appears that my second choice, John Bolton–another great friend of Israel–, is still in the running. However, Rex Tillerson, CEO of ExxonMobil would appear to be Trump’s first choice.

*15 Days to Amona . . .

. . . and still, there seems to be no coherent plan to deal with the impending evacuation on December 25. Amona residents had even heard that the evacuation would take place tonight, but were assured by government officials yesterday that further moves to delay the evacuation of the community were underway.

Late yesterday afternoon, the community issued this statement (courtesy kolhayudi):

Following our meeting with senior officials in the defense establishment, we reported that in light of the State’s intention to apply for deferment Court of Justice, the evacuation will not occur in the coming days.

In light of this we can return to normal and breathe deeply. It is important to inform the many guests.

We are excited and grateful to the thousands of loved ones who came to be here with us, to strengthen us. . . we appreciate your efforts, and solidarity.

While we would be happy for your to remain with us on Shabbat . . . you can now go back and be with your families.

We will take advantage of the next few days to continue to exhaust every possibility to demand that our elected officials led by the Minister of Education [Naftali Bennett] and PM Netanyahu meet their commitments and find a solution to the regulation of Amona.

Calm Saturday! Shabbat Shalom!
