The News On the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

**Palestinian terrorists attempted to fire three more missiles out of Gaza toward southern Israel last night; however, their movement was detected at the launch site, and the IAF eliminated the threat.

**At least 15 Israeli soldiers, policemen, and civilians were wounded over the weekend in 100+ terror attacks.

Palestinian terrorists struck at Zeita (soldier wounded in the head), Givat Ronen (soldier wounded in the face), Taqqa (soldier wounded in the arm), Judea Square (soldier wounded in arm), Qalandiya (soldier wounded), Salah a Din in Jerusalem (5 policemen wounded), Ofer (civilian wounded and evacuated to Sha’are Zedek Hospital), and Wadi Ara (4 civilians including a bus driver wounded).

Other attacks occurred at such places as Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Givat Assaf, throughout the Jordan Valley, Nabi Saleh, Vered Jericho checkpoint, Sinjil, Deir Qadis, Nili, Zeit Raanan, Asya, Issawiya, Karmei Tzur, Beit Ummar, Har Homa, Tekoa, Hevron, Tarquimiya, Halhul, Beit El, Turmusayya, Anata, the Zif Junction, Havat Gilad, Yitzhar, Beit Furik, Beit Dajan, Hassan, the Na’alin checkpoint, Shakedia, Ofra, Silwad, Tapuach Junction, Ariel, Ma’ale Levona, Givat Shaveh, Migdalim, Madma, Elon Moreh, Itamar, Jaljuiya, A-Ram, Muayyir, Gilad, Azzun, Kafr Kara, Hizma, Hawara, and Homesh.

The Fake News strikes again and again . . .

In regard to the recent missile attacks here in the south:

Sky News in the UK broadcast a report that the missiles had been fired at “Israeli settlements”. Does this mean that every kibbutz, moshav, town, and city in Israel is now a settlement?

But the worst offender is CNN, which has viciously and continuously attacked Trump’s declaration recognizing Jerusalem. As of this hour (9 am Israel time), it is still running this online headline:

“Israel airstrikes, Gaza rockets amid tensions over Jerusalem”

. . . which would suggest that the Gaza rockets were merely in response to the Israeli airstrikes, when of course the opposite was true.

By the way, note how CNN uses the phrase “Gaza rockets” instead of “Palestinian rockets.”

Your humble servant would like to reiterate that anyone who watches CNN is watching manufactured news that is not real. Here in Israel, the CNN channel is wholly Palestinian and Arabic in orientation. Even all of the commercials are from Arabic countries.

CNN’s hatchet job on Jerusalem, Israel, and the Jerusalem Declaration has been nauseating.

The parade of self-hating U.S. Jews continues to crawl out of the woodwork . . .

The newest group of Jews to denounce the Jerusalem Declaration are 132 members of Jewish Studies departments across the United States. These so-called “academics” have signed a petition which reads in part:

“As the Israeli human rights organization B’Tselem has documented . . .”

Wait . . . it is not necessary to read another word of the Jewish Studies petition. Any group that buys into the false B’Tselem narrative doesn’t deserve to be heard.

Talk about nauseating . . . consider the U.S. Reform Jewish Movement . . .

After the Jerusalem Declaration, Rick Jacobs (the head of the Union of Reform Judaism) issued what can best be described as a lukewarm statement of support for the fact that Jerusalem is our capital.

Yesterday, a new Jacobs statement declared that in the coming year the U.S. Reform movement will double the amount of money it spends to convert Israeli orthodox Jews to Reform Judaism.

Yes, you read that correctly.

According to Jacobs, the U.S, Reform Movement “will strengthen the Reform movement in Israel and [attempt] to establish new Reform communities throughout the country that will meet the growing demand among the secular and traditional Israeli public.”

The traditional Israeli public. Read: orthodox Jews.

Absolutely incredible.

At a time when the population of the U.S. Reform Movement is dwindling away to nothing, it will attempt to convert Israeli Jews to its numbers?

Absolutely nauseating.

A few bright spots . . .

In the sea of anti-Semitic denunciations of the Jerusalem Declaration (see yesterday’s blog), there have been a few bright spots which are hopefully beginning to grow. In addition to the Philippines and the Czech Republic which supported the declaration from the beginning, we now have Peru and Guatemala on board.

Palestinian Missile Hits Kindergarten in Sderot

During the attack on Sderot two nights ago, residents reported hearing two explosions, not one as the IDF insisted. In the aftermath of the attack, the IDF even went so far as to say that the report of the second explosion was “false”, and if a missile had been fired, it landed in Gaza.

Last night, local Sderot police found the second missile–in the middle of a kindergarten in downtown Sderot.

Stop and consider for a moment what would have happened if the attack had occurred during the day. What would have happened to the children? Remember that for reasons still unknown, the Iron Dome batteries around Sderot did not react to the incoming missiles.

Also stop and consider how accurate the two Palestinian missiles were. One hit a downtown street, the other hit a kindergarten. One can conclude from this that the next war with Palestinian Gaza will feature Israeli communities being hit by far more accurate missiles.

Finally, you understand once again, dear reader, why no one here in southern Israel believes anything that the IDF Spokesman and General Command say. Every time we hear “false alarm” or “it landed in Gaza”, we know that the IDF is hiding the truth.
