Happy Chanukah!

May your holiday period be filled with

good health, warm family times, and light!

Quote of the Day:

“The Reform Movement’s response to the recognition of Jerusalem is terrible.”

Natan Sharansky, Chairman of the Jewish Agency, referring to the fact that the U.S. Reform Movement, as represented by “Rabbi” Rick Jacobs of the Union of Reform Judaism, issued what can only be described as a tepid statement of support.

The News On the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Two missiles were fired out of southern Palestinian Gaza last night at the area around Yad Mordechai. This marks the sixth day in a row that southern Israel has been hit by missile fire.

In response, the IDF attacked an empty Hamas compound:

In addition to the missile attack, there was a rash of other Palestinian terror incidents:

*A Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab IDF soldiers near Ariel. No soldiers were wounded; the terrorist was critically wounded.

*”Rock” and Molotov attacks took place at Havat Yehuda, the Avraham Hasno junction south of Hebron, Al-Khader, the Gush Etzion Road, at the entrance to Jericho, Deir Istiya, Duma, Yakir, Immanuel, Zubeidat, Halhul, Abu Dis, Khirbet al-Arub, Balaban Sharqiya, Shechem Beit Haggai, Karmi Tzur, Fawwar, Beit Anan, the Jerusalem Tunnels, Karnei Shomron Junction, Beit Ummar, Azzun, Hawara, Sebastia, Husan, Tekoa, Givat Assaf, Curve 160, Kiryat Arba, and Beit Hanun, among other places.

This car which was hit near Kiryat Arba had both front windows smashed. If you look carefully, you can see the "rock" in the passenger seat.

The Palestinians launch new campaigns . . .

It was announced yesterday that the Palestinians are launching a campaign to close all U.S. agencies in Areas A and B as well as any organization funded by the U.S. (and why not given the tremendous increase in money being given to them by Qatar and the European Union).

It was also announced that the Palestinians are calling on the international community to recognize that the Dead Sea Scrolls belong to the Palestinians.
