The Anti-Israel Quote of the Day:

Given the limited financial capacity of the Lebanese side as a result of the regional economic conditions, an unprecedented influx of refugees from neighboring Syria, we have decided to carry out a supply of defense products within the framework of the military-technical ties free of charge. We categorically reject any attempt to impose conditions for bilateral cooperation with Lebanon in the military-technical field.

We greatly appreciate the activities of the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (BCOOHL) in maintaining stability in the southern borders of the country, adopting in August 2017 UN Security Council Resolution 2373, and gives us further opportunities to implement all the provisions of Resolution 1701. We always support the cessation of the various practices of violating the sovereignty of the Lebanese Republic by Israel, whose aircraft regularly penetrates Lebanon’s airspace. We believe that Israel is building a “defensive wall” along the Blue Line, which is not an internationally recognized line.

Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, speaking in Rome at the Second International Conference for the Support of the Lebanese Army and Internal Security Forces.

And thus, the Russian government once again blatantly declares its alliance with Lebanon, Hezbollah, Syria (Assad), and Iran–and once again throws Israel under the bus, even to the point of declaring that it does not recognize the international boundary between Israel and Lebanon.

And once again, the noose tightens.

The News on the Israel Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . .

*A Palestinian terrorist has carried out a horrendous bulldozer attack (see picture at the head of today’s blog. At 4:15 pm, MADA responded to a terror attack on Route 585 between Mevo Dotan and Hermesh. 4 soldiers were run over; two of them, an officer and non-officer were killed on impact. Two are in “critical condition.” The terrorist was captured.

*A Palestinian terrorist shot an IDF soldier in the face at the Tulkarm checkpoint. He was evacuated to a nearby hospital. The terrorist escaped.

*Throughout the day, there were more than 40 other terror attacks.

Palestinian terrorists attacked with firebombs and “rocks” at Ofra, Tekoa, Luban A-Sharqiya, on the Gush Etzion Etzion Road near Hevron, on Route 465 near the old British Police Junction, at the Azzun Junction, on the ridge road between Itamar and Elon Moreh, on the road between Jerusalem and Gush Etzion, at the Avraham Hasno Junction south of Hevron, at Kiryat Arba, Yitzhar, and Karmei Tzur, among other locations.

*Palestinian rioters attacked IDF soldiers at Jericho, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Gaza, Shechem, Huwara, and Hevron.

Bravo to the Population and Immigration Authority . . .

An Irish “tour group” was stopped at Ben Gurion Airport today. Its two leaders were immediately returned to Ireland because they support the BDS movement.

The other 25 members of the tour are being detained at the airport because the purpose of the entire tour was to undermine Israel. They will probably be returned to Ireland tomorrow.

Just how absurd are the Netanyahu “investigations”? . . .

Try to wrap your mind around this, dear reader.

Two weeks ago, Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara were interrogated for the umpteenth time by the abominable Lahav 433 unit. The subject of this interrogation was Case 4000–the case primarily involving whether the Netanyahus received some benefit from Walla News.

In this particular interrogation, the Netanyahus were interrogated separately, the PM at the Netanyahu residence, and Sara at the headquarters of Lahav 433.

It is similar towards published levitra 40 mg medicine. Amazingly, in the midst of Sara’s interrogation, someone began tweeting Sara’s answers live (in real time) from Lahav 433. The tweets were all designed to make Sara look bad; one tweet was about how Sara was faking distress over the death of the family dog; another one was about how she had no idea was she was being interrogated about. And so on.

Today, the police announced that they had investigated the leakage.

And guess what they “discovered”?

According to the police, Sara Netanyahu was tweeting the terrible things about herself.

Can you believe this?

It is just pathetically incredible the lengths that Lahav 433 will go to in order to besmirch the Netanyahus.

TODAY’S BLOG:

“She’s the mother of us all.”

Miriam Peretz

Miriam Peretz

Her oldest son, Lt. Uriel Peretz—leader of a reconnaissance platoon in the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion—was killed on November 25, 1998, in ambush with Hezbollah in south Lebanon. On March 26, 2010, another son, Major Eliraz Peretz, was killed fighting Hamas terrorists in Palestinian Gaza.

A different person might have rightfully mourned the rest of her life.

But not Miriam Peretz.

As Naftali Bennett said yesterday when he informed her that she has been awarded the “Israel Prize for Strengthening the Jewish-Israeli Spirit”:

“Miriam Peretz, who lost her sons, has devoted her life to educational work. Miriam did not choose the harsh circumstances of her life, but chose to live and thus revived an entire people. She’s the mother of us all.”

The award citation was more extensive. It reads in part: “The Israeli Prize has been awarded to Miriam Peretz, an educator who has lost two of her sons. Ever since, Peretz has dedicated her life to education and instilling the Jewish and Zionist legacy by lecturing to teenagers and IDF soldiers and visiting communities abroad. Miriam assists bereaved families and wounded IDF soldiers. She is a symbol of the Jewish and Israeli spirit and is a symbol and shining example of giving and helping others.”

When she was told of the award by Bennett, her response was simple: “I’m unworthy, it’s theirs—Uriel and Eliraz’s—it’s not mine.”

But the fact is that no one could be more deserving than Miriam Peretz.

Israelstreet joins the rest of Israel in congratulating her.
