The News On The Israeli Street

Another day and more tunnels all over the place . . .

Another tunnel was revealed on the Lebanese border yesterday, bringing to four the number “discovered” so far. As we have previously written, there are probably hundreds of such tunnels leading from Lebanon into Israel.

At the same time, residents of Sderot called in the IDF yesterday because once again they are hearing “digging noises” taking place under the city. Isn’t it amazing that even with the supposedly vast number of supposedly sophisticated listening devices that the IDF has placed along the Gazan and Lebanese borders, it falls to individual citizens to report “digging noises” taking place under their homes?

Why do we even have to think about this?

This week, the Finance Ministry is deciding whether Israelis can deduct donations paid to Amnesty International from their income taxes.

Why is this even a decision to be made?

Amnesty International works assiduously for the BDS boycott of Israel, and works constantly to accuse IDF soldiers of war crimes at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

The thought that people donating to this abominable group get a tax deduction is abhorrent.

Speaking of abominable groups . . .

Yesterday, the mother of Danny Gohen–who was shot to death in the Binyamin area three years ago–was appalled to discover that a team of Israeli lawyers belonging to the group “HaMoked: Center for the Defense of the Individual” is fighting to protect the rights of the very terrorists that murdered her son.

Not surprisingly, HaMoked is funded by the European Union and the New Israel Fund.

And still speaking of abominable groups . . .

Yesterday, Jewish Voice for Peace began a campaign calling for people to write and call incoming U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urging her not to support impending anti-BDS legislation that would make it more difficult to boycott Israel.
Then maybe you can mention that you are cialis tablets 20mg an affiliate Marketer, you are basically the middle man in, you provide the demanded ransom. Frankly, Jewish Voice for Peace is both barely Jewish and wholly uncommitted to protecting the rights of Jews in Israel.  It is a PLO and Hamas front organization that entirely exists for the purpose of advocating for the “poor Palestinians.”

TODAY’S BLOG:

Palestinian Terrorists Run Rampant In Judea and Samaria

The last 24 hours have seen more than 50 terror attacks carried out against Israeli citizens in Judea and Samaria.

“Rocks” and Molotovs were thrown by Palestinian terrorists at Wadi Hermiya, Bethlehem, Al-Fawwar south of Hevron, Funduq, just outside of Hevron, Ateret, on the Gush Etzion Road near Beit Ummar, Kedumim, Al Aruv, Tekoa, the Giti Avisar Junction, on the Gush Etzion Road near the Bypass Junction outside of Hevron, the Judean Hills, Tikkun, the Maccabim Checkpoint, Ma’ale Amos, Beit Ummar, Halhul, on Road 465 near Neve Yair, Amos, between Jinsput and Kedumim, Adam, Mevo Dotan, Einot Anar, Neria, Givat Assaf, and the British Police Junction among other places.

In just one of the above locations, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road, a nine-month-old boy was hit in the face by shattered glass and his mother was wounded by shrapnel when their car was attacked; they were evacuated to Sha’are Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem for treatment. Six more carfuls of Israelis were also attacked at the same location.

One of the cars hit bu a “rock’ on the Gush Etzion Road last night. The driver was wounded but managed to stay in control of the car.

As regular readers of israelstreet know, there is nothing new about the above attacks; they happen day in and day out in Judea and Samaria.

Nevertheless, the prevailing opinion of the Israeli security establishment is that the latest surge of violence is being orchestrated by none other than Jasser Barghouti. In case you have forgotten that name, Jasser Barghouti was one of the Palestinian terrorists who was ludicrously released from prison in the Gilad Shalit deal in October of 2011. He was in prison having been sentenced to nine life terms for directing attacks in which numerous Israelis were killed.

But he was released, and he has spent the last eight years setting up more terror cells in Judea and Samaria including those recently responsible for the attacks in Ofra and Givat Assaf in which more Israelis were murdered. One of the terrorists killed by IDF troops after one of those attacks was Salah Barghouti.

The bottom line is that terrorist cells are now running rampant in Judea and Samaria because an Israeli government, in its infinitely absurd reasoning, let terrorists who had committed murders loose to murder more of us.

Unbelievable.
