The Perverted Palestinian Fraud Perpetuated By The Media

SPECIAL NOTICE:

Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day) begins at sundown tonight in Israel.

Today we remember all who have fallen in defense of Israel and all who fell as a result of terrorism against this country.

As we noted several days ago on israelstreet, 56 IDF soldiers were killed in the past year bringing to 23,741 the total number of IDF soldiers killed in defense of Israel over the years.

In addition, 13 people were killed in “hostile acts” this past year bringing to 3,150 the total number of victims of terror hostilities.

The First Disingenuous Quote of the Day

“On behalf of all the citizens of Israel, I wish to send condolences to the families of those killed by Hamas fire: Moshe Feder, Zaid al-Hamamdeh, Moshe Agadi, and Pinchas Menachem Peshuzman, May their memory be blessed.”

PM Netanyahu on his Facebook page today

Why is this disingenuous? Netanyahu was conspicuously quiet over the weekend–conspicuously quiet when the missiles struck, conspicuously quiet when hundreds of thousands were huddling in their bomb shelters, conspicuously quiet when our citizens were killed, and conspicuously quiet about the shameful ceasefire that he engineered.

It is all fine and good for him to bless the memories of the dead now, but as the old saying goes he is “a day late and a dollar short”.

These four people should never have died–and would not have except for the Netanyahu government’s utterly failed “lack-of-policy” of dealing with the Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.

The Second Disingenuous Quote of the Day

On the occasion of Israel’s 71st Independence Day, a salute will be held for the State of Israel and its citizens. As part of the flight, the IAF decided to hold an additional salute to the residents of the Gaza vicinity and southern communities.

The planes will pass over the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip and southern communities and express the appreciation of the IDF to the residents of the south for their steadfastness and the strength demonstrated by the residents during the last days of the fighting and over the years.”

Unbelievable. Appreciation for steadfastness and strength during the last days of fighting and over the years? Translated, this means thanks for letting us use you as missile fodder yet again.

Here we have an IDF General Command that refuses to recommend or take pro-active action to stop terrorists from carrying out missile attacks which pummel citizens of the South–and now it wants to honor the residents of the South?

What a sick joke.

The News On the Israel Street

The IDF General Command mentality exposed . . .

Former Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. (res.) Yair Golan voiced the opinion of the IDF General Command yesterday when he remarked on Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) about what action must be taken to avoid another 750+ missiles fired at southern Israel: “We have to give big benefits to Hamas and see if the solution will follow. Gaza is not a question of what to do when shooting, but what to do when you do not shoot. You have to give them a fat, sweet carrot . . .”

This is wrong on so many levels but goes to the heart of the problem.

The IDF no longer looks at itself a force for victory (what to do “when shooting”). It is wholly concerned with politically correctly aiding the enemy between and during mini-wars and wars.

Golan, it should be remembered, is the same person who remarked at Holocaust Memorial Day three years ago that Israelis today are not unlike German Nazis in the 1930s. He never apologized for that remark.

TODAY’S BLOG

The Perverted Palestinian Fraud Perpetuated By The Media

How many times have we seen this before? Whenever the Palestinian terrorists in Gaza attack us and we retaliate, the Palestinian public relations machine goes into overdrive pouring out fraudulent stories of Israeli cruelty that the international media publishes without making any effort to verify whether the stories are true or not.

After the particles are exposed to heat, oxygen, and chemicals such as soaps or detergents, they begin precipitating out of solution. levitra online thought about that Making use of one drug of blue tablet is effective for women with sexual dysfunction, as it cheapest viagra in australia boosts blood supply to the female reproductive organs, increasing the sensitivity. Almost always, the stories center of “poor Palestinian children” who are the “victims of Zionist aggression and brutality.” The Palestinian pr machine pervertedly delights in stories of dead babies, dead children, and dead pregnant women.

The time around the big fraud began on Saturday when the spokesman at the so-called Gaza Health Ministry rushed out to tell anxiously awaiting reporters that a missile fired from an Israeli aircraft had killed a pregnant woman and an infant. Photos of the dead baby and the dead pregnant woman soon followed along with photos of the funeral processions.

The media pounced on the story.

Reuters, The Daily mail, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and literally hundreds of other newspapers and internet sites eagerly piled ondespite the fact that the Israel Air Force immediately declared that the woman and the baby were not killed as a result of an Israeli missile.

This is the account that appeared in Al-Jazeera:

“What’s the sin of my children?’ Infants killed in Gaza shelling”

“Netanyahu orders ‘massive attacks’ on Gaza Strip, causing the death of at least 24 Palestinians, including two infants.”

Gaza Strip– One year old Seba was killed along with her aunt in an Israeli air attack at their house in Gaza on Saturday.

With her wounded hand, Seba’s mother, 27-year-old Rasha Abu Arar, wiped her tears, ruing the incident that took place following the escalation of violation that has killed at least 24 Palestinians and four Israelis.

“Me, my cousins and their children were sitting in the house when suddenly a rocket fell on us,” a pregnant Rasha told Al Jazeera.

“I wrapped my arms around my daughter to protect her but the shrapnel injured my hand and penetrated her body,” she said as she continued sobbing.

“My three-year-old daughter, Rafeef, was also wounded and is currently in the ICU,” added the mother of six.

“What is the sin of my children? Did they throw rockets at Israel?”

Seba’s aunt, 37-year-old Falisteen, was pregnant with her 10th child and died of shrapnel wounds in her neck.

“My heart is bleeding over her orphaned kids. They are very young. How would they continue their life without their mother,” said Falisteen’s mother, Fatma.

Have you finished weeping yet?

Well, it turns out that the IAF was not responsible after all.

The following appeared yesterday on a Hamas “telegram” website (emphasis mine):

“A message from the heroes of the Islamic Jihad (Jarrah al-Quds) about the circumstances of the death of the baby Seba Abu Arar indicates that the resistance rocket exploded inside the family’s home, and exploded prematurely. [The] technical failure was caused by low-level explosives in the background. There is no doubt that the death of the baby is not related to enemy aircraft.”

What do you think happened to this Hamas message?

Sometime during last night it was removed.

There you have it. “A resistance rocket” that was supposed to be fired at southern Israel from a launcher presumably inside the Abu Arar home exploded prematurely killing the pregnant woman and the child.

When do you think you will see a retraction or correction of this fraudulent Palestinian story from Reuters, The Daily mail, The Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, and Al-Jazeera?

Your humble servant can tell you when.

Never.
