The Nauseating Photo Of The Day

An IDF soldier handing our Ramadan good wishes to a Palestinian crossing from Judea and Samaria into Israel in order to go to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Photo comes from a tweet by Niv Dvori.

An IDF soldier handing out Ramadan good wishes to a Palestinian crossing from Judea and Samaria into Israel in order to go to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Photo comes from a tweet by Niv Dvori.

This is nauseating on so many levels:

Why are we encouraging Palestinians to worship on the Temple Mount–where virtually no Jews are allowed to worship?

Why is it the responsibility of the IDF and Israel Civil Administration to hand out Ramadan greetings–especially considering that about the only other time that the IDF and Civil Administration work together is to uproot Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria?

What has gone wrong with the IDF that it is so consumed with being politically correct–and not consumed at all with defeating our enemies?

Some of the comments on social media to the above photo express your humble servant’s sentiments exactly:

One person wrote: “The New Israel Fund has come to Ramadan. A disgrace.”

Another person wrote: “The most moral army in the world.”

To which a third person replied: “Yes, in the world’s moral army contest, we win for a fourth consecutive year. Only a shame that our army has not won any war in the last 46 years since the Yom Kippur War.”

The News On The Israeli Street

The good news from Iran . . .

The Iranian rial continues to drop like a rock with the official rate being 157 rials to $1.  Unofficially, on the black market, the rate is more like 150,000 rials to the dollar.

The ridiculous news from Ramallah . . .

The so-called “Palestinian Ministry for Foreign Affairs” demanded yesterday that the European Broadcast Union forbid Israel from doing any advertising for the Eurovision contest that includes any photograph of Jerusalem. The demand cited that “Jerusalem is occupied” and that “the rights of the Palestinian people should be respected and the principles of international law observed.”

More beggary in Gaza . . .

It appears that the infantile Palestinians will be receiving another $30 million handout from Qatar on Monday. The money which is being advertised as going to “poor Palestinian needy families” will of course actually go straight into the pockets of leaders of the Hamas military wing.

A moment of enlightenment on the Israeli left . . .

A self-described “non-automatic leftist”, Fania Oz-Salzberger gave an interview to the newspaper Maariv which was published yesterday.

In it, the daughter of famed Israeli writer Amos Oz made these rather remarkable statements:

“Just as Zionism is one of the most brilliant national movements in history, the Palestinian is one of the less glamorous national movements, with a murderous, extreme element with a miserable complex of honor.”
Therefore, to eliminate the possible dangers and risks and to make levitra samples you a better driver. And this:

“For every moral error of Zionism, for every injustice . . . of Israel, there were ten serious mistakes of the Palestinian leadership. This is the way things are, to the best of my judgment, as a sober leftist, a non-automatic left.”

That’s something, you don’t ordinarily see: a sober leftist who tells it like it is.

Three Outrageous Quotations Which Tell All

Quotation 1:

“I’m Jewish, and there’s a set of people who deny that the Holocaust happened. I find that deeply offensive. But at the end of the day, I don’t believe that our platform should take that down because I think there are things that different people get wrong. I don’t think that they’re intentionally getting it wrong . . .

Facebook CEO explaining why Facebook will not remove the sites of Holocaust deniers.

Can you believe this? “I don’t think they’re intentionally getting it wrong”?

Unbelievable.

Quotation 2:

“I am willing to accept that Jaffa is part of Israel, so long as Judea and Samaria remain for us. The Netanyahu government rejects this. We have given up 80 percent of our homeland and now we must also divide what is left ?! No! It makes no sense. ”

Spoken by Ataf Abu Seif, PLO Minister of Culture yesterday.

Thank you Abu Seif for accepting that part of Tel Aviv is “part of Israel.” We have given up 80% of our homeland? What homeland? Judea and Samaria are the Jewish homeland and have been for more than 3000 years. And by the way, if the Palestinians were ever given Judea and Samaria, the next thing they would demand would be Tel Aviv-Jaffo.

Quotation 3.

GlynSecker

“Jews are in the gutter. . . Jews are the problem.”

Galyn Saker, member of the UK Labour party speaking yesterday at a pro-Palestinian event.

Saker was wildly cheered for the above statements.

This is how low the world has fallen.
