A Story That Will Warm Your Heart

As we all know, students that support Israel are under siege across the United States by pro-Palestinian students led by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Muslim Student Association. Too often we have seen how pro-Israel events have been disrupted and even stopped by pro-Palestinian “protesters” who intimidate students and university officials. We reported on just such an event in a blog about UC-Davis last week.

Yesterday, pro-Israeli students at New York University were holding their annual “Rave In The Park” event in celebration of Israel Independence Day. SJP decided that it would disrupt the event by staging a die-in in the midst of the celebration. The pro-Palestinian disrupters all lay down on the sidewalk with placards noting such things as so-called “Palestinian villages” that were supposedly ethnically cleansed back in 1948.  The idea was that by doing so, the Rave event would be stopped.

It didn’t work out like that.

In fact, just the opposite happened as the Jewish students went on the attack surrounding the disrupters, shouting at them, and generally making them miserable.

Afterwards, several of the SJP disrupters went on Facebook to express their dismay. Here was one comment:

Of course, these pictures were put up to show how terrible the pro-Israel students were.

Here’s what another SJP student had to say:

“While I was in the die-in, countless zionists stepped on me and my belongings and waved their flags on my face. A lady yelled “shame on you!” to me repeatedly and a man tried to harass me into leaving. It was an extremely disturbing experience.”

Your humble servant has only one thing to say.

It’s about time, and kolakevod to every student who refused to be cowed. If only other students at other universities would react in the same way!

The News On The Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

On the Gaza border:

So much for the absurd “ceasefire”. Currently there are more than 10,000 Hamasniks out at the border fence throwing grenades, IEDs, and Molotovs at our soldiers. Hamas and Islamic Jihad announced in advance this morning that even if only one of their “protesters” is killed, they will fire missiles at Tel Aviv.

At the same time, more explosive balloons are being launched by terrorists by the hour–with resulting fires along the border:

In Judea and Samaria:

Jewish community members have faced numerous “rock” and Molotov attacks yesterday and today. Some of the most egregious assaults took place between Halhul and the Karmei Tzur Junction where a bus was attacked, on the Bir Zeit Bridge, south of the T Junction in Gush Etzion, and on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road.
An attack meets the legal definition of “vicious” when there is a laceration, muscle tears or if multiple sutures or cosmetic surgery are required to check with the doctor immediately. buying viagra in uk You can also use medicated ghees like shatavari ghee, brahmi ghee and ashwagandha commander cialis http://www.dentech.co/?shop=4506 ghee for massaging. TODAY’S BLOG:

From The Absurd To The Even More Absurd

As if the absurd non-“ceasefire” with Hamas and Islamic Jihad was not enough earlier this week, try to wrap your mind around these three stories today:

*135,000 Palestinians came to the Temple Mount for the first day of Friday Ramadan prayers. 75,000 of these were from Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria (compared to only 39,000 last year).

Compare this 135,000 to the paltry 1,200 Jews who were permitted to go to the Temple Mount during the entire week of Passover.

Just incredible.

*Remember Khan Al-Ahmar? This is the illegal Palestinian settlement built in area E1 primarily with money from the European Union. As you may recall, Khan Al-Ahmar was ordered destroyed by the Israel Supreme Court.

That was almost a year ago.

At the time, PM Netanyahu promised it would be quickly razed. Today, for the sixth time, the Netanyahu government asked the Court to postpone the evacuation order for Khan Al-Ahmar.

Just incredible.

*How about Jibril Rajoub?

At age 17, he was sentenced to life imprisonment for his role in the terrorist murders of Israelis (only to be released in a later prisoner exchange).

Last year, Rajoub organized protests and death threats against players on the Argentina national soccer team to stop them from playing a friendly game in Israel. For that incitement Rajoub was suspended from FIFA. At the last Olympics, Rajoub was able to get the Olympic Committee to not have a moment of silence for the Israeli athletes murdered in Munich in 1972.

Just this morning, Rajoub sent a letter to Spanish soccer authorities to try to prevent Atletico Madrid from coming to play a match in Israel.

Guess where Rajoub went this morning after he sent the letter about Atletico Madrid?

He checked into Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv for medical treatment–at the expense of Israeli taxpayers.

How in the world did Israeli authorities ever let him into Israel–and allow him treatment at Ichilov?

Just incredible.

From the absurd to the more absurd.
