7 Days Until The Election

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

On the Gaza Border:

Hamas terrorists shot down a drone overnight making two drones lost by the IDF in 24 hours–the other was shot down over southern Lebanon.

In Judea and Samaria:

Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs at Road 465, Aqraba, Umm Safa, Tapuach, Azzun, Migdalot, the U-Junction near Talmonim, El Khader, along the Gush Etzion-Jerusalem Road,  and near Hevron to name a few places.

Speaking of terrorists . . .

Yesterday, PLO Chairman Abu Mazen declared this concerning the money the PLO pays to terrorists in Israeli prisons:

“We will never agree to a cut in money, since the martyrs are the most sacred thing to us, and because the wounded are the most sacred thing to us, and because the security prisoners are the most sacred thing to us, we will not give up on them.

One thing you can say about Abbas is that he is consistent.

This pronouncement came after it was revealed two days ago that the PLO has raised the salary of the terrorist who built the suicide belt that was used in the bombing of Cafe Hillel on September 9, 2003 in which 7 Israelis were murdered and 57 were wounded.

That terrorist and his cohorts have already received in excess of 3,000,000 shekels.

Two major archaeological discoveries . . .

Sometimes great finds come in small packages! The seal of Adenyahu.

A seal bearing the name of one of King David’s sons was found just north of the Ir David (the City of David).

That name is Adenyahu (alternately spelled Adonijah). He was the 4th son of David (of 19). Ultimately, Adenyahu met an untimely end when he was executed by Solomon because of his conspiring to be king.

The second discovery involves the Dead Sea Scrolls–actually the Temple Scroll which is the longest (8.15 meters) and best preserved of all the scrolls.

But, the question they have is rx generic viagra how to prepare food: cooked food is indicated by boiling or baking. Body ought to be heated with sexual interest before getting the tadalafil lowest price medication. The Physiotherapists are appalachianmagazine.com cialis sale dedicated and focused on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and advice of a qualified, licensed medical professional. The men who face troubles keeping an erection for long durations without experiencing any levitra vs cialis trouble.

The question has always been why the Temple Scroll was so well preserved.

The question has always been why the Temple Scroll was so well preserved.

The Temple Scroll has now definitely been shown to have been made with an ancient technology as yet unknownand with minerals that do not belong to the Dead Sea area.

Essentially, the parchment on which the scroll was written contained an “inorganic layer” which helped to preserve it.

The discovery of this inorganic layer only leads to another mystery–where was the scroll written? And who knew about the technique?

Surprising Decisions From The High Court of Justice

In the first decision yesterday, the High Court sitting with all seven justices overturned by a vote of 4-3 a 2-1 decision of  a 3-judge panel of the High Court.

It should be pointed out that the full High Court reversing a 3-judge panel of its own justices is practically unprecedented.

So what was the decision? The 3 judge panel had ruled way back in December 2017 that the government does not have the right to hold the bodies of dead terrorists and use them for negotiating the release of the bodies of Israeli soldiers held by terrorists.

The new ruling gives the government the right to do so.

The second ruling, equally surprising, stems from a ruling 5 years ago. In that decision, the Court ordered the Israel Civil Administration to raze a group of illegally built Palestinian homes in Gush Etzion.

The Civil Administration has refused to do so.

Yesterday, the Court ordered the Civil Administration to carry out the order and provide a timetable for doing so in the next two weeks. According to the Court, the situation is “unimaginable.”

Agricultural Equipment And Carpet Cleaning

Netanyahu at the podium yesterday revealing the Iranian nuclear facility at Abadeh.

Your humble servant has insisted for years that the Iranians have never stopped their nuclear weapons development program. PM Netanyahu’s slideshow for the media seems to have confirmed that yesterday.

Satellite photos showed a nuclear facility at Abadeh, and the attempt of the Iranians to destroy it after its discovery. The only real question is how many more Abadehs are there?

The Iranians were quick to dismiss Netanyahu’s reveal saying that it was merely a compound for agricultural equipment.

Netanyahu’s media expose came several hours after the IAEA confirmed that uranium particles have been found at the Turquzabad site which Netanyahu had previously pointed out.

The Iranians claimed that the Turquzabad site was a carpet cleaning company.

Agricultural equipment and carpet cleaning. What will the Iranians think of next?
