10 wanted terrorists were captured overnight by IDF troops working in conjunction with Border Guards and police. Numerous weapons were confiscated.

Off again on again . . .

Less than a month after postponing without explanation military aid to Lebanon, the Trump Administration announced last night that it was releasing $105 million dollars in military aid to Lebanon.

As we all know, whatever money is given to the Lebanese Army goes straight to Hezbollah.

Those nasty IDF soldiers . . .

A video of an IDF soldier helping an elderly Palestinian man in Hevron went viral yesterday. Here is a screen shot from that video:

It’s always amazing . . .

. . . how gay and transgender people outside of Israel love to protest against Israel.

This is a short video of a transgender person being beaten up in Ramallah yesterday:

Where is the international outcry?

TODAY’S BLOG:

Complete Confusion: No One Knows Anything

So we still have 8 days to go during which Benny Gantz, Benjamin Netanyahu, or any other Knesset member can obtain 61 signatures to form a government.

If anyone succeeds in doing so, then President Rivlin then has two days to give that person a two week window in which to form the coalition.

Assuming the 61 signatures are obtained and submitted at the end of the 8 day period, this means that December 27 would be the deadline to form a coalition.

Are you confused yet?

It gets better–or worse.

If you experience ED periodically, chances are it is no good for health prescription free cialis find out address to take it with the large glass of water. If no coalition is formed by that December 27 deadline, an election would be held on the last Tuesday in the ensuing 90 day period–in this case, March 24.

But wait . . .

The Kahol Lavan Party submitted a request to the Central Elections Commission yesterday to expedite the election to February 25. The Commission accepted the request.

But wait . . .

The Commission cannot decide on its own to move the election date up. The Knesset would have to change the law to permit this.

In the midst of all of this, Attorney General Mandelblit decreed yesterday that PM Netanyahu has 30 days to apply for immunity from prosecution by the Knesset. In other words, Netanyahu has until December 31 to apply.

If he applies, then (as we have previously reported), that application must be taken up by a Knesset Committee which as of this moment does not exist.

Which means . . .

That if Netanyahu applies for immunity, who knows what will happen.

Or when?

All of which calls into question when Netanyahu’s trial would begin–though where it will take place was apparently decided yesterday.

According to the Attorney General, the trial is likely to take place in Jerusalem instead of Tel Aviv–which is a victory of sorts for Netanyahu because judges in the Jerusalem area tend to be more supportive of public figures in trials than those in Tel Aviv.

But in the end, the utter confusion currently reigning supreme is because:

*no one knows if a Knesset member will garner 61 signatures–

*no one knows if someone does get 61 signatures, he or she can form a government–

*no one knows if Netanyahu will ask for immunity–

*no one knows what will happen if he does (or doesn’t)–

*no one knows when a Netanyahu trial might begin–

In short, no one knows anything.
