The number of senior officials who have Corona or are self-isolating because of being in contact with others is steadily climbing.
Those who are are confirmed with Corona include Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi. Among those quarantined are the head of Mossad and the head of the National Security Council.
PM Netanyahu and the Health Ministry have now ordered that all Israelis wear masks whenever they leave the house beginning tomorrow.

Do We Really Want A National Emergency Government?
A few days ago the prospect looked wonderful. Today not so.

And then who knows what would happen? Could Netanyahu now get 3 more people to join his block of 58–with no Gantz? And then where would Gantz be–now that he has disassociated himself from Lapid, Ya’alon, and the Joint Arab List?
He might end up out in the cold.
One never knows in Israeli politics.
All of which leads us back to the question of what is holding up the emergency government. Three factors: Gantz refuses to accept Israeli sovereignty over the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria; Gantz refuses to let Yuli Edelstein return to being Knesset Speaker; and Gantz refuses to let Likud have a voice in who is going to be the next Justice Minister.
These three are reasons enough for Netanyahu to strongly reconsider entering into an arrangement with Gantz–if he ever really wanted it to begin with.
Perhaps the real question is “should the national emergency government be saved?” All of you dear readers certainly know your humble servant’s opinion by now.
Unless Netanyahu can get Gantz on board with sovereignty and annexation: no government with Gantz.
