There are 25,253 active cases.
It may seem like the number of confirmed cases dropped yesterday; however, the number of people tested also dropped (only 6,946). Of those tested, a very high 9.1% tested positive. An extremely worrisome number is the steadily increasing number of people who are critically ill.

A Bad Day For Hezbollah
Amidst massive demonstrations against the government and against Hezbollah, it has been reported that Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah and his minions have fled to Syria.
Nasrallah’s likeness being torched in Beirut yesterday.
Apparently as they were fleeing, Hezbollah security opened fire on anti-Hezbollah protesters:

If indeed it was a bunker, the question is “who was in it?”
In more bad news for Hezbollah, Lebanese senior terrorist Habib Fared (58) was gunned down in the streets of Tehran along with his daughter Miriam (27) yesterday. Oddly, they were shot by a motorcycle gunman beside the home of Abu Mahdi Al-Mohandis who was the deputy commander of the pro-Iranian Iraqi Peoples Forces until he was assassinated in the same strike that killed Qasem Soleimani.
All in all, it was a bad day for Hezbollah–and the situation will not be improved with the soon-to-be-released report from the U.N. Special Tribunal on Lebanon in The Hague on who murdered former Lebanese leader Rafik Hariri in 2005. That report is expected to show that the crime was committed by Hezbollah.
