Hi ho hi ho, it’s not all to Washington we go . . .

PM Netanyahu and his wife Sara have raised a few eyebrows in announcing today that they will not fly to the Washington signing agreement ceremony on Sunday with the rest of the Israeli delegation.

After El Al had prepared a special plane complete with a bed for the use of the Netanyahus, they decided that they would fly by private plane in order to not be unduly exposed to Corona.

In what can only be described as totally unsurprising given their animus against Netanyahu, all three major Israeli television networks announced last night that they are sending no reporters to cover the signing.

TODAY’S BLOG:

What A Sick Culture

“We have still have dignity, martyrs, prisoners, and refugee camps of glory, and this is enough for us.”

Mohannad Aklouk, PLO envoy to the Arab League, expressing his dismay at the League’s rejection of the PLO proposal to condemn the normalization agreement between Israel and the UAE.

What an illustrious list of things to have: martyrs (aka terrorist murderers who were killed), prisoners (aka terrorists who were captured), refugee camps of glory (aka squalid communities maintained by the PLO and UNRWA to keep alive the Palestinian delusion of Palestinians’ return to Israel).

And all of this imparts “dignity” to the Palestinians.

What a sick, defective culture.

Just think of what the Palestinians could have accomplished with all the billions of dollars handed to them by Western and Arab governments.

Instead they have martyrs, prisoners, and refugee camps of glory.

And that is enough for them.
