Today’s Good But Could Be Much Better Graph and Statistic

The Yesha Council has just released population statistics for 2020 which show that 476,033 Israelis now live in some 150 Jewish communities in Area C of Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley.
What is remarkable is that the continuing increase in population is almost entirely the result of “natural increase”, meaning children born to existing residents. If the government were to get rid of construction restrictions in these communities, we might well see as many as one million residents there by 2030.

Palestinian terrorists in Gaza launched yet another missile into southern Israel last night which exploded in an open area near Nahal Oz. This time there was no lightning to blame it on.
In response, Israel struck six so-called “observation posts” (aka sand dunes), and one building (aka an empty ramshackle structure) in Gaza.

Just when we thought that we were entering a dry spell, a big winter storm has socked Israel with snow in the north, rain in the central region, and sleet and hail in Jerusalem.

Thank You Again President Trump!
Over the past four years we cannot count the number of times we have thanked President Trump.
Whether it was his declaring Jerusalem our eternal capital, or moving the American Embassy, or proclaiming Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, or affirming that the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are not illegal or countless other actions, President Trump has stood tall for Israel.
Perhaps taller than any other American President ever has.
So it is with sorrow that we see him leave the White House today, and with more sorrow that we see another Obama era descend on the Middle East and Israel in the form of Joe Biden.
Thank you again President Trump for all you have done for Israel!
