The continuing oil spill . . .

Thousands of volunteers have been out on Israel’s beaches ever since the disaster hit Israel’s coast. Still, the scale of the environmental catastrophe is hard to comprehend.

The Health Ministry has forbidden any swimming or water sports, and merely sitting on the beach is prohibited because of the toxic fumes.

Iran strikes? . . .

TODAY’S BLOG:

 Surprise Surprise

Your humble servant admits surprise about the U.S. attack on Iranian positions in Syria last night which apparently killed 17 Revolutionary Guards. At the same time, the White House announced that while it still wants a nuclear deal, it is not about to eliminate sanctions–a key Iranian demand.

So what just happened?

What happened was the Iranian proxy attack on the AFB in Iraq which resulted in two Americans, a soldier and a contractor, being killed. Apparently, Biden wanted to send a message that those kinds of attacks on Americans will not be tolerated.

Of course, your humble servant is not delusional and would guess this is just a bump in the Biden-Ayatollah road.

Nevertheless, one can only assume that the powers in Tehran are miffed. Here they seemed to have Biden and his minions eating out of their hand, and now they have to figure out how to deal with the American strike.

To top all of this off, we have word today from the IAEA that Iran has now refined 25 kg of uranium to 20%.

And so it goes.

Shabbat Shalom!
