The Interesting Photos Of The Day

Surprising volunteers for MADA.

Surprising volunteers for MADA.

It turns out that the volunteers are health paramedics from the UAE who are in Israel better learning their craft.

As you can imagine, when the above photos appeared on social media yesterday, officials in the PLO went crazy, excoriating their fellow Arabs for “betraying the Palestinian cause.”

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 48 hours . . .

Palestinian terrorists carried out “rock” and Molotov attacks at Tekoa north of the T-Junction, the Hashmonaim Checkpoint on Road 446 (Israeli badly wounded), Hizma, on the Trans-Yehuda Road east of the Halhul Bridge, in Singil, between Adam and Hizma, Beitar, the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Al Aruv, on Road 55 between Azzun and Karnei Shomron (Israeli wounded), between the Al-Khader Junction and the Tunnel Checkpoint, at the HaOfakim Junction and Hevron, near Huwara, on Road  458 in the Duma area, on Road 465 near Betari Avod, and at numerous other places.

The Corona comeback updated . . .

839,830 Israelis have been diagnosed with Corona since the pandemic began

287 active cases: 33 new cases diagnosed yesterday

22 in critical condition–17 of whom are on ventilators

6,427 have died

5,491,524 have been vaccinated

The above numbers look good, but officials are particularly concerned about the gradual rise in new cases (it was only about 5 a day last week).

Apparently, the Health Ministry is considering clamping down on people flying into Israel from abroad by forcing people to wear electronic bracelets and to go to Corona hotels until they can be verified free of the virus.
A many health professionals recommend this treatment for men with brand cialis for sale moderate and severe condition of ED. This is due to harmful manufacturing processes order cheap cialis and cheap ingredients. If meaning to operate a powerful trailer business, it is essential to consider the sorts of cheapest viagra in australia tablets intended for treating ineptitude issues (ED) or maybe weakness. Erectile dysfunction (ED) or impotence issue in men with which almost 30 percent purchase viagra uk of male population is going through.

Meanwhile in Modi’in, the scene of the latest mini-outbreak, Mayor Haim Bibbs issued this statement this morning: “After assessing the situation, I have decided to return the directive on wearing masks in educational institutions and classrooms.”

The expected money from the Leviathan gas well updated . . .

It is continuing to look like the amount of money that Israel will receive from its largest natural gas well, Leviathan, was grossly exaggerated.

The newest figures from the Delek Drilling Partnership indicated that, at most, Israel can expect to receive about $22 billion dollarsfar less than the $70 billion first projected.

It should be remembered that the government used the inflated $70 billion figure to embark on massive government spending in numerous areas. Now it appears that taxes will be raised in the near future, and incoming Finance Minister Liberman even wants to put a new tax on tourists to the country.

On the Iranian front . . .

As we all knew would happen, the Biden Administration is dangerously rushing pell mell into a new agreement with Iran which will include a waiver of virtually all sanctions and an easing of oversight of Iran’s nuclear weapons program.

It is beyond absurd.

IDF Chief of Staff Kochavi has rushed to Washington to confer with officials to try to deter this course of action. Of course, it is a completely useless trip.

All of this comes as Ebrahim Raisi has been elected President of Iran. Raisi, aka “the Butcher of Tehran”, is responsible for nearly 30,000 extrajudicial executions and is well known for his violently anti-Israel views.

TODAY’S BLOG:

The Fanatical Pursuit of Netanyahu

Speaking of beyond absurd, so-called “Defense Minister” Benny Gantz announced today that he is proposing a “commission of inquiry” into Netanyahu’s role in the “submarine affair.”

As you may recall, Netanyahu’s brother-in-law David Shimron has been accused of taking kickbacks from the German firm that manufactured the submarines.

Attorney General Mandelblit spent several years investigating these accusations and decided last year not to indict Netanyahu on charges related to the purchase of the submarines (known in Israel as Case 3000). Mandelblit did indict Netanyahu on Cases 1000, 2000, and 4000 for which Netanyahu is currently standing trial.

Your humble servant has always wondered why Netanyahu was ever accused of anything in Case 3000. In the first place, no evidence has ever been forthcoming that he knew anything about his brother-in-law’s possible wheeling and dealing. But even more so, Israel had a legitimate existential need for advanced submarines, and Netanyahu facilitated their acquisition.

The bottom line is that the fanatical anti-Netanyahu forces in the new Coalition and their cohorts in the Israeli media cannot let go. They were determined not only to replace him as prime minister but also to destroy him.
