U.S. Democrats Articulate Their Position Against Israel

73 Democrat members of the U.S. House of Representatives have sent a letter to President Biden calling on him to reverse all the Trump Administration decisions about Israel.

Herewith:

Page 2.

To recap concisely, the letter calls for:

1. Biden to dump the Trump Peace Plan (which was responsible for Israel’s normalization with the U.A.E and others.

2. Biden to insist that Hamas stop shooting missiles at Israel (not to take any actions if it does–just to ludicrously “insist” that Hamas agree not to).

3, Reopen a U.S. Consulate in eastern Jerusalem for the Palestinians.

4. Label “settlements” a violation of international law” and prohibit the import of goods from them (aka “customs guidance”).

5. Oppose the eviction of illegal Palestinian squatters from Sheikh Jarrah and elsewhere.

6. Call the “West Bank” and Gaza “occupied.”

7. Dole out millions of dollars to the PLO and Hamas.

8. Publicly condemn specific Israeli actions that undermine peace (this mentions both sides, but . . .).

But the list is heavily weighted against Israel.

And perfectly illustrates where the U.S. Democrat Party now stands. You may argue that “only 73” Democrats signed the letter, but how many came out in opposition?

Zero. None. Zilch.

These are the same Democrats and Democrat Party that our new Coalition Government has promised to try to befriend.

By the way, plenty of vermin came out of the woodwork to support it led by the ever abominable J Street.

And so it goes in Israel today.
