A Palestinian terrorist wielding a knife was captured at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron.
Palestinian terrorists attacked an IDF jeep at Burka and set it on fire.
Palestinian terrorists on the Gaza border started fires at Or Haner, Erez, and near Sderot with explosive balloons.

32 diesel trucks went through the Kerem Shalom Crossing this morning heading for the Gaza power plant. Another 10 gas tankers also entered the Palestinian state.

Insanity Continues in Israeli Prisons Despite the Escape at Gilboa
These items have been publicized in the last three hours:
*A cell full of Islamic Jihad prisoners in the Ramon Prison near Mitzpe Ramon has set their cell on fire and started a wholesale riot in their wing. This follows a riot at Ketziot Prison last night where six cells were set on fire.
*A bottle of eye drops was confiscated at Ofer Prison. It contained no eye drops–only semen.
*The Israel Prison Service has decided to allow Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners to use landline phones again (your humble servant wonders why given the fact that they all have cellphones).
*It turns out that a surprise inspection was held at Gilboa Prison two weeks ago–and the prison guards and administration were praised for the way it was being run.
*60 Islamic Jihad security prisonersat Gilboa were transferred to Ofer Prison this afternoon. Apparently, there is no confidence about anything at Gilboa anymore.
We could go on and on, but the bottom line is that because of the decades-long drive to become more “humanitarian” to the prisoners, the prisoners have taken over the prisons.
By the way, the six escapees are still at large, and our security forces seem no closer to capturing them.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
