Amira Hass will play “Sabra” in the new Marvel movie. As you can imagine, Palestinians have mounted worldwide protests–and Marvel has promised to “modify” the character which first appeared in the comics as a member of Mossad.

The Spice 100 missile which was apparently used in Israel’s 12:45 am attack on the airport in Damascus last night.
The missiles found their mark despite attempts to shoot them down. The targets included Iranian warehouses, the air defense system, and unmanned aircraft.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
