The News On The Israeli Street

From Judea and Samaria:

A Palestinian terrorist attempted to run over an Israeli in northern Samaria last night around 10 pm. Fortunately, the Israeli escaped unharmed; unfortunately, the terrorist escaped.

Palestinian terrorists carried out “rock” and Molotov attacks throughout the area. Some of the worst were at Kfar Ozerin, Azzun, Hermesh, Shechem, Kiryat Arba, Tapuach, Migdalot, Beit Anun, the Baruchin Junction, Anat, the Horseshoe Junction,  and Luban A-Sharqiya.  At least 5 Israelis were wounded in the above attacks as reported to Rescue Without Borders and Kolhayehudi.

From Gaza:

Even though we don’t report them everyday, fires continue laying waste to forests and agricultural fields in southern Israel–fires started by explosive balloons launched by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.

Here is a photo of a fire yesterday at Sha’ar Hanegev:

And Netanyahu is “right wing”? . . .

Ironically, just a day after we blogged here on israelstreet that the Netanyahu government is anything but “right wing, comes news that the Netanyahu cabinet voted yesterday to approve 700 new homes for Palestinians in Area C of Judea and Samaria.

Yes, Area C.

Area C where Israel has complete control, and Area C where there are already an estimated 30,000+ illegal Palestinian buildings.

How is it possible that this decision was made?

There are four theories circulating this morning:

1. Netanyahu pushed this because it is part of the Trump Peace Plan which has yet to be revealed.

2. Netanyahu pushed this as a sop to Jared Kushner who is about to land here in Israel.

Things began to change for him when he learned the Underachiever internet marketing study course (by Frank Kern in addition to Ed Dale) in addition to began utilizing levitra generic usa the methods. viagra canada mastercard http://appalachianmagazine.com/2019/12/05/a-heartfelt-christmas-story-from-1903/ Concurrently, the male sexual organ receives adequate blood to experience erection, but only during sexual stimulation. 3. Netanyahu pushed this in order to help Trump and Kushner bring “moderate” Arab leaders to Camp David later this month or early next month to a meeting where Trump’s Deal of the Century will be laid out.

4. Netanyahu pushed this because he will now authorize 6000 new homes to be built in Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

The only one of these theories which is almost certainly untrue is number 4. Even if Netanyahu “authorizes” 6000 new homes, you can be certain that they will never be built. It will be nothing more than an election stunt to pull in votes on the “right.”

Speaking of the election . . .

We are now down to the deadline for political parties to declare their list of candidates.

By midnight tonight, the final lists must be submitted.

There are still frantic efforts on the left to get the Labor Party to join with Meretz and Barak’s “Democratic” Party. The latest polls show that the Meretz-Democratic joint party has plunged in the last week by almost half (polls show it only winning 7 seats).

There are also frantic efforts on the right to get Otzma (Jewish Power) and Identity to join the United Right. The latest polls show Shaked’s United Right gaining in popularity (polls show it winning 12-14 seats).

Meanwhile, Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman threw another monkey wrench into the election last night by declaring that he will only have his party support a “national unification” government after the election.

Israel Takes To The Air: Amos-17, Arrow 3, and the F35i

The Amos 17--one of the most sophisticated communication satellites in the world (graphic ITweb).

The Amos 17–one of the most sophisticated communication satellites in the world (graphic ITweb).

As you probably know, Israel’s Amos 17 satellite will be launched from Cape Canaveral on Sunday or Monday depending on the weather. The satellite is meant to primarily provide communications services to Africa–but cellular and internet services to Europe and the Middle East will also be enhanced.

As you also probably know, Israel and the U.S. carried out 3 successful tests of the Arrow 3 ballistic missile interceptor in the skies over Alaska this past week (click here to watch a launch). This comes as Iran has apparently positioned ballistic missiles with the Houthis in Yemen.

As you may or may not know, it is now being reported that two Israeli F35i’s carried out the bombings in Iraq last week. The Iraqis report that numerous Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guards were killed in the strikes.

What a trio: the Amos 17, Arrow 3, and F35i continue to give Israel superiority in the air.
