This past week a group of Jewish mothers who had children from Muslim fathers came to Mt. Meron for a kind of summer camp (shortened because of Corona). These women have decided that they wanted to return to Judaism and raise their children as Jews after first having raised them as Muslims because of their husbands.

The “camp consisted mainly of fun activities but also included meeting the Rabbi of Tzfat, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu Shlita, who warmly welcomed them and stressed the importance the covenant of the Jewish people (hence the term “blood covenant ceremony.”)

The attacks in Syria last night . . .
