Sometimes you just want to throw up your hands and . . .

. . . scream ‘what has happened to this country?’ Last night, there were Arab riots at the Nablus Gate in the Old City. In particular, our Border Police were attacked as they tried to maintain some semblance of order.

In response and after an extended struggle, several of the rioters were arrested.

Today comes the incredible news that the Israel State Attorney is opening an investigation into the Police.

As one person on social media wrote when this investigation was announced a few hours ago:

“We are committing national suicide. We have a state prosecutor that sees Arab terrorism as legitimate, and the law and the Jews as oppressors.”

And . . . just when you recover from one incredible piece of news comes another . . .

Last night, Israel’s Channel 13 broadcast an astonishing report concerning the ease with which thousands of illegal Palestinians from the Qalqilya area infiltrate into Israel everyday.

To understand the ridiculous situation consider this:

The Palestinians are driven up to a permanent hole in the fence which is large enough to drive a truck through. They arrive in private cars, taxis, buses, every kind of vehicle.

There are very few patients who refuse to accept and discuss about ED, and finally there cheapest viagra https://unica-web.com/ENGLISH/2014/GA2014-minutes-1.html are a few women who feel real angry and end their relationship. Once through the fence, there is a line of taxis, minivans, and buses waiting to carry them wherever they want to go. But before they grab some transportation, they can buy food from a series of vendors that have set up tables.

Breakfast anyone?

Breakfast anyone?

And then, they are on their way–right under the noses of the IDF who prefer not to get involved because they are severely undermanned. One soldier asked the reporter: “How am I supposed to arrest hundreds by myself?”

And so it goes everyday in Israel.

TODAY’S BLOG:

“The Zionist Camel Is Beginning To Sway:

We Should Wake Up, We Are Not In Heaven.”

Maj. Gen. Gershon HaCohen, the former commander of the General Staff Corps, spoke yesterday on Northern Israeli Radio (FM 104.5). Here is a brief synopsis in the form of quotes of what he said:

“If I were the leader of Israel, I would prepare for war.”

“We must get out of our state of denial. There is an impending war against us. It will be more difficult than the six-day war, and yet the people of Israel do not realize that they must prepare for war.”

“We need to understand what Hezbollah and Hamas are doing. This is a very sophisticated method. They do not want war, they want to exhaust us. They are committed to daily efforts to harm the State of Israel until its extinction. It is a religious duty for them. Every day they check what they can do.

Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hezbollah in Syria, Shiite militias. Iran in Yemen, the Sinai, Gaza and even within the State of Israel. These are not simple threats. It is an envelope that is becoming more and more connected. We should wake up, we are not in heaven.”

“Our army is too small. The chief of staff is preparing properly against Hezbollah and Hamas, but it is too small to withstand all the threats at the same time. The people need to understand that the ability to sit and watch the army winning a war on TV is over.

Too few people serve in the reserve; there is no reason for 70 percent of IDF veterans to be exempt from national service. A national guard of 100,000 combat soldiers must be established in the face of threats.”

“In Arabic there is a proverb that says ‘when the camel falls, those who come to stab it will multiply.’ We must not let anyone around us see that the Zionist camel is starting to sway. We must convey inner strength, determination, live here and pay the prices. Everyone knows that there are hundreds of thousands of rockets aimed at Israel, and the home front must be ready.”

These remarks speak for themselves and repeat what we have long been saying here at OneIsrael. Our population has grown soft, our government has grown fearful, our army is woefully small. Our people are used to watching short televised video clips of the IAF attacking targets in Gaza or Syria; no one is prepared for a war in which our losses will be heavy as every part of the country is relentlessly attacked every day by tens of thousands of missiles.

As HaCohen said: “We should wake up, we are not in heaven.”
