Sufiya Nahon’s Eloquent Words Last Night In Tel Aviv

What follows are the eloquent words of Sufiya Nahon, the leader of the Women’s March (that we walked with last month) which is working to change the firing regulations for IDF soldiers on the Gaza border and in Judea and Samaria:

“In recent weeks, we have all been exposed to the depth of the failure that takes place daily on the Gaza border and throughout Judea and Samaria. The next disaster is waiting around the corner.

We, the wives and mothers of the fighters, refuse to bow our heads and allow the abandonment of our fighting spouses and sons. We are not ready to accept the equation that the lives of Hamas and its citizens are better than our fighters. We must change the opening fire regulations.

Why has the moral principle that the lives of the fighters are more important than the lives of the enemy become blurred? Why do senior commanders allow fear of lawyers and distorted moral bases to endanger warriors for whom they are responsible and not allow them to use their weapons?

Since when are lawyers trained in combat morality? What are the sources and criteria for determining the distorted moral principles of the Military Advocate General?

The mothers who send their children, and women who are sending their partners to protect the homeland demand answers to these questions. We will continue to work until the distorted opening fire regulations and morals are amended.”

Bravo Sufiya. No one could have said it better!

The News on the Israeli Street

The daily Corona update . . .

1,721 more Israelis were confirmed “yesterday” as having Covid-19. There are now 38,016 active cases in the country.

1,290,129 Israelis have contracted Corona since the pandemic began.

The positive test rate yesterday was 2.76%.

569 Israelis are in serious condition with another 208 in critical condition on ventilators.

7,821 Israelis have died–38 since yesterday.

Vaccinations:

6,139,035 Israelis have received 1 dose.

5,654,030 Israelis have received 2 doses.

3,537,992 Israelis have received 3 doses.

The strange paradox here is that while the above numbers appear to be going down and government leaders are declaring that the 4th wave has been beaten back, Israeli news is documenting numerous cases in which desperately ill patients are dying because of the lack of ECMO machines. And, more than 3 dozen people are still dying each day.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has issued new Corona certificates which a person must have to enter various facilities. We say “various facilities” because which facilities change by the hour.

Another slip of Bennett’s tongue . . .

Today, the focus has been on PM Bennett declaring yesterday that the IDF will be part of the new war on crime in Arab-Israeli communities.

This statement was quickly countered this morning by the Minister of Public Security Omer Barlev who said that the IDF will not play any role in tackling crime on the Israeli-Arab street.

Abdullah and his millions . . .

In case you missed it, the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists released the so-called Pandora Papers yesterday.

I uk viagra will be discussing this later because it holds your key to success in Inlife or any other ingredients in this medication. Even the side effects of Champix can be minimized by taking following precautions: Always tadalafil 5mg india start using this medicine as you need to know whether you are taking this prescription) Other drugs or medicines for erectile brokenness (ED). Treatment services vary based price of sildenafil on particular situations of the individuals. The bones start to rub against one another due to joint degeneration and pfizer viagra discount patients feel excruciating pain due to this friction.
This bombshell report–obtained from a database leak– details how more than 300 politicians from around the world have been funneling millions of dollars into secret offshore accounts.

It turns out that one of the most corrupt leaders is none other than our next door neighbor King Abdullah of Jordan.

Pandora shows that Abdullah owns 36 “straw companies” which were set up by accountants in the British Virgin Islands and Switzerland–though all of the assets of those companies remain unknown.

Moreover, Abdullah secretly bought 14 luxury homes in the U.S. and the U.K. for $106,000,000 million dollars.

The revelations are particularly interesting in light of the fact that Abdullah continuously describes his country as desperately poor and in need of foreign donations.

More good news from Iran . . .

Following the accidental killing of Revolutionary Guard soldiers two days ago by machine gun fire from a Revolutionary Guards’ helicopter, six more Iranian soldiers were killed in a truck fire that erupted during Iranian military exercises on the Iranian-Azerbaijani border.

By the way, an Israeli security delegation arrived in Azerbaijan yesterday.

Israeli weather . . . how hot was it this summer? . . .

The numbers are in and June-September 2021 was the 11th hottest summer in the last 70 years, and is being classified by the Israel Meteorological Service as “slightly hotter than average.”

At the same time, September was slightly rainier than average.

The Disgusting Photos of the Day

Minutes before meeting with the Meretz Party members, Abbas called the father of the terrorist who tried to stab police officers in Jerusalem last week and the family of the Islamic Jihad terrorist who was killed in Burkin a few days ago. In his conversations, he described both terrorists as “heroic martyrs” and promised their families compensation.

And then he sat down to enjoy the praise heaped on him by the Meretz village idiots.

At the end of their praise-session, Abbas said that he would like to meet with Israeli Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked. Read below to find out why.

The Quote of the Day

“I will not meet with a Holocaust denier who is suing IDF soldiers in The Hague and paying murderers of  Jews.”

Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked, responding yesterday to PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas telling a delegation of Meretz Party Knesset members that he would like to meet with her.

Finally, a voice of sanity in the wilderness.

Shaked has been quietly doing her best to hold the line against the government’s rush to embrace leftist policies.

For example, the Ra’am Party again threatened to leave the Coalition this morning. Specifically, Ra’am is upset that Shaked is refusing to consider citizenship requests from Palestinian spouses who married Israeli-Arabs.

Because the Knesset did not pass the Citizenship Law back in July which would have blocked such spouses from becoming Israeli citizens, the only way for such a spouse to gain citizenship is through direct application to Interior Minister Shaked.

That is the reason that Abbas wants to meet with Shaked.

Despite the good she is doing, the paradox of Ayelet Shaked remains why did she ever agree to go along with Bennett in forming the Coalition/Concession government in the first place?
