Also, as you may not know, included in the notes personally placed by individuals in the Wall are 30,000 more notes that were placed there after being mailed to the Western Wall Heritage Foundation from abroad. This past year saw an increase of 30% in messages sent, and notes were sent from 30 countries led by the USA, Brazil, and Ukraine.

The Incitement of the Day

“We are with you forever and ever and you will overcome all the challenges facing you, it is our duty and the duty of every Muslim to stop the Israeli escalation against the holy places of Islam and Christianity.”

King Abdullah of Jordan in a special, fraudulent, message to the residents of eastern Jerusalem during a meeting with eastern Jerusalemites and PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas yesterday in Ramallah.

If this is not a call for violence against Israelis, nothing is. But what else can we expect from the abominable Abdullah?

By the way, as we all know, there is no Israeli “escalation” against the holy places of Islam and Christianity–unlike what happens in Jordan where Christians have been persecuted into non-existence and Jews are regularly detained when they pass through.

The News on the Israeli Street

The war with Hezbollah and Iran . . .

The time has come to call a war a war.

Following the Hezbollah/Iran attack at Megiddo last week, Israel has embarked upon daily attacks on Hezbollah/Iran assets in Syria.

There have been 5 bombing attacks in the last 6 days–with the latest target being a convoy  of trucks carrying advanced computer chips for installation in Hezbollah missiles which also came from Iran. In these attacks, at least 11 Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Syrian soldiers have been killed.

Yesterday, another senior Iranian was blown to bits in a car bomb in a Damascus suburb:

The car carrying the Iranian.

The car carrying the Iranian.

Also yesterday, a UAV from Syria (Hezbollah or Iranian?) was shot down over the Galilee.

Hezbollah has “reddened” its website which has meant in the past that some sort of attack is imminent.

The war in Judea and Samaria.

Shooting attacks:

Palestinian terrorists engaged in a firefight with IDF troops this morning in Shechem. At least two terrorists have been killed.

Palestinian terrorists fired anti-tank “rifles” at an Israeli motorist on Highway 60, north of Ofra.

IED, Molotov, and “rock” attacks:

Palestinian terrorists tried to kill and wound Israelis on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Al-Aruv, between the Karmi Tzur Junction and Beit Omer, near Khirbat al-Zombah, on Road 443 west of Beit Horon, at Luban a-Sharqiya near Ramallah, and at dozens of other locations.

Whose country is it?. . .

Once again, the Biden Administration has acted as if Israel is a vassal state. U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides announced yesterday that the Allenby Crossing between Jordan and Israel will now be open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.

In doing so, he tweeted: “This is a victory for Palestinians and Israelis alike.”

What a perverse joke.

It is a victory for the Palestinians forced down Israel’s throat by Biden, and an extremely dangerous development for Israel because our citizens will become ever more vulnerable to terrorists coming from Jordan.

And why in the world was it the Americans who made the announcement?

Speaking of terror . . .

It was revealed yesterday that there are 3 times more warnings for terror during Passover this year than last year. The warning are for attacks in Israeli cities (especially Jerusalem), Judea, and Samaria.

The outrageous criticism over the creation of a National Guard . . .

The anti-government movement and their international cohorts–especially in the U.S.–are going apoplectic about the establishment of a National Guard by the Cabinet yesterday.

The irony is that the new group is being created primarily to try to quell the severe outbreak of crime in Israeli-Arab cities and towns–one of the groups the self-proclaimed “liberal progressives” are most interested in “protecting”. Israeli-Arabs are one of the groups leading the call for a National Guard.

Yesterday, there was another murder in Umm al-Fahm, that of 63-year-old Kamal Mahamid who was shot to death. He is the 43rd Israeli-Arab murdered in Israeli-Arab society since January 1.

Let’s All Calm Down And Have A Drink

What an achievement!

What an achievement!

An Israeli whisky has just been named “The Best Single Malt Whisky in the World” by Whisky Magazine–following a months long blind tasting by whiskey experts.

That whisky is “Elements Sherry” distilled by the Israeli “Milk and Honey Distillery” based in Tel Aviv-Jaffa.

The competition was fierce as Elements Sherry was up against all of the most famous whiskies in the world–especially those from Scotland and Ireland. As one reporter put it today, winning this award was like “Israel winning the World Cup in soccer after defeating Germany, Italy, Argentina and Brazil along the way.”

A huge congratulations to the winners!

A huge congratulations to the winners!

With turmoil on our borders and inside our country, maybe it would be a good idea if all of those engaged in trying to destroy the government and the country would just sit down and have a glass of “Elements Sherry.” Who knows what might happen?
