The Unsurprising Outrage of the Day

The chairman of one of the biggest soccer teams in Egypt has renamed the club’s facilities “Mohammed Salah” after the terrorist who murdered the three Israeli soldiers on the Israel-Egypt border last week.

Outrageous yes, surprising no. Peace treaty or not, we all know that the vast majority of Egyptians would love to do what Salah did. Every poll of Egyptians ever taken has shown that the Egyptian public would love to eliminate Israel.

The News on the Israeli Street

A new immigrant to Israel . . .

The extremely rare yellow-throated sparrow.

The extremely rare yellow-throated sparrow.

One yellow throated sparrow was spotted on the Golan Heights last year, but then it apparently flew off on its annual migration path toward India.

It was thought that the bird was an anomaly, but Israeli ornithologists have just spotted 10 nesting pairs–apparently indicating that the yellow throated sparrows have decided to call Israel home.

Where The Sun Doesn’t Shine

“In order for Israel to enter the American visa exemption program, American-Palestinian citizens must be entitled to full freedom of movement to enter and leave Israel without any problems.”

American State Department Spokesman speaking yesterday concerning Israel’s effort to join the 40 countries whose citizens do not need a visa to visit the U.S.

Israel has jumped through all sorts of hoops in an effort to satisfy the Biden Administration–all to no avail.

What the Bidenites refuse to acknowledge is that we have Palestinian terrorists trying to kill us everyday, and some of the worst incitement to do so comes from who the State Department wants to refer to as “American Palestinians.”

Your humble servant has repeatedly doubted American honesty in this process over the last two years and believes it is high time to tell the Americans to put our application for the visa exemption  . . .  in the trash can.
