UPDATE 3 PM

Breaking News:

The bloody scene at the Masmiya Junction where at least 2 Israelis were murdered this afternoon:

Six Israelis were shot by a Palestinian terrorist from eastern Jerusalem at the Masmiya Junction between Gedera and Kiryat Malachi this afternoon. Two have been confirmed dead–Zaka reports that 3 have died. More would have been killed had not a civilian shot and killed the terrorist.

Those at the scene report that the terrorist had an ISIS-like beard and was wearing a large white Muslim skull cap.

Another Soldier Has Fallen in Gaza

Sgt. Noam Haba, 20, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the 202nd Parachutist Brigade was killed in battle in southern Gaza.

May his memory always be for a blessing.

Another “Hostage” Has Been Declared “Dead”

The IDF has announced that Yair (Yaya) Yaakov, 59, from Kibbutz Nir Oz who was kidnapped on October 7 is dead.

Excellent Comment from PM Netanyahu Today

“I am not ready for humanitarian gestures.”

Netanyahu’s remark was in response to an American demand to speed up humanitarian gestures because they might speed up hostage negotiations.

Say what? Have any of the thousands of “humanitarian” gestures we have already made sped up anything? We still don’t know how many hostages are alive and are dead, and those alive have not received any medicines.

On the Ground in the South

The Current Status of IDF Forces

The IDF Spokesman:

The 646th reserve paratrooper brigade left Khan Yunis today and ended its combat phase in the area, after a brigade operation that was completed in the Abbasani area in eastern Khan Yunis.

The fighters of the brigade will be released back to their homes after fighting in two arenas since 7.10 – in Judea and Samaria at the beginning of the war, and later in Gaza – in the center of the Gaza Strip and in Khan Yunis.

Now four fighting brigades remain in the Khan Yunis area under the 98th Division – Givati, Paratroopers, Commando and the 7th Brigade.

**Because of the protests at the Nitsana and Kerem Shalom Crossings against “humanitarian aid” trucks entering Gaza, only 20 entered the terror state yesterday.

**It appears that Egypt is preparing a 13 km2 area to hold Palestinians who flee Rafah in advance of an IDF operation in Gaza.

On the Ground in the North

**IDF forces killed 3 Amal terrorists in southern Lebanon last night as they prepared to shoot anti-tank missiles into Israel.

In Other Incredible News

**Despite the decision of the Cabinet, Palestinian workers by the hundreds continue to be employed by the Defense Ministry to work on sensitive projects.

Economics Minister Nir Barkat issued this statement today: “The scandalous decision of the Minister of Defense to allow Palestinian workers to build the security fence on the Gaza border is unimaginable and contrary to the decision of the economic cabinet. The Ministry of Defense is wrong to think that it is above the government’s decisions.”

Just unbelievable.

We Wish Our Soldiers and You Dear Readers Shabbat Shalom!
