The Gaza War: Day 167 . . . The War in the North

Yom Chamishee

Thursday

11 Adar II 5784

March 21 2024

Quote of the Day

“This would be a scandalous betrayal of our ally and a reward for Hamas who carried out the terrible massacre.”

Former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo commenting on reports that President Biden is slowing down and possibly stopping the flow of weapons to Israel.

Pompeo is exactly correct.

Also sickening is to see how other countries march in lockstep with Biden.

First, we had the sanctions that Bidenites imposed (and are imposing) on community members in Judea and Samaria. Almost immediately after Biden imposed the sanctions, France, the U.K., Germany and others did the same.

Now, we already have Italy and Germany declaring yesterday that they will no longer supply weapons to Israel.

By the way, the U.K. has threatened this morning to cut off weapons to Israel if we do not its representatives “to visit” the terrorists in prison who committed the October 7th massacres.

Unbelievable.

 UPDATE 9:00 AM

On the Ground in Gaza

We previously reported on the elimination at Shifa Hospital of Fa’ak Mabuhouh, the coordinator of many HamISIS terror attacks emanating from Gaza.

*The IDF announced yesterday that an attack on Monday killed Syed AlHashash, Osama Chahir, and Muhammad Al-Malahi–all of them HamISIS police commanders in the area around Rafah. Last week, it was Namal Al Eid, chairman of the HamISIS emergency committees in Rafah who was eliminated.

*At Shifa Hospital yesterday, the IDF captured Mahmoud Qawasma who has long been wanted for the June 2014 murders of Naftali Frankel, Gil-ad Shaar and Eyal Yafarah.

*Yesterday we reported here that the head of Islamic Jihad had been captured at the Shifa Hospital and was being interrogated in Israel. The IDF has still not confirmed this.

From the IDF Spokesman:

“The combat team of the 401st Brigade, the 13th Fleet, fighters of the Dovdevan unit and Shin Bet forces under the command of the 162nd Division located 11 million shekels in dollars and Jordanian dinars  intended for terrorism in Shifa Hospital. During the operation, about 3,700 Gazans passed through the checkpoint near the hospital and from there moved south, Of these, more than 300 were identified as terrorists and were arrested along with dozens of senior terrorists and key officials.”

On the Ground in the North

Strange goings on in the Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut.

From a report:

“The ‘Al-Alam Al-Arabi’ news agency (AWP) reported that Hezbollah deployed its forces today ‘in an unprecedented manner’ in the Da’iyah district of Beirut. The news agency added from an eyewitness that ‘it is not clear the reason for the tightening of security, which includes checking those passing by on the streets. The same elements walk around with black masks.’ The Lebanese newspaper ‘Al-Nahar’ also reported that Hizbollah personnel were “widely deployed with full military equipment’ in Da’ahia.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

*This morning a stabbing attack was thwarted in Gush Etzion at the Elazar Junction when a knife-wielding terrorist tried to board a bus.  Nearby IDF soldiers neutralized the terrorist by shooting him.

*An IAF drone attack incinerated three terrorists in their car in Jenin. Those killed included Mahmoud Elfaid, Mahmoud Rahel, and Hamada Barkhat. Barkhat was the commander of the “Jenin Battalion” which has carried out numerous terror attacks in recent years. Hours later other terrorists executed in the street a person suspected of collaborating with Israel to provide information which led to the drone strike.

*Two more terrorists were killed in the Noor Al-Shams section of Tulkarm this morning during an ongoing division-wide operation in the city.
