Picture of the Day:

This tweet this morning says it all. John Kerry is still meeting with the Iranians. But why? Read below for a possible reason.

This tweet by Jason Osborne from Paris  this morning says it all. John Kerry is still meeting with Iranian diplomats. But why? Read below for a possible reason. By the way, FARA is the Foreign Agents Registration Act–a law that requires persons acting as agents for foreign countries to disclose this information to the U.S. Department of Justice.

According to a report today, a senior advisor to Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif said this:

“If the Europeans stop trading with Iran and do not pressure the U.S., we will reveal which Western politicians received how much money during the discussions on the nuclear agreement. It would be interesting.”

Is your humble servant reading this correctly? Iran paid off Western politicians for their support of the nuclear appeasement agreement? That would certainly explain why Kerry is still meeting with Zarif and the Iranians. Do you think it is possible, dear reader, that the extremely wealthy Kerry has been on the Iranian payroll all along? And other European “diplomats”?

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

We can expect a sea of riots and numerous terror events in the coming 48 hours. In the last 24 hours, Arabs have rioted on the Temple Mount, in major Arab cities in Areas A and B, and along the Gaza Border.

As for yesterday, another major terrorist tunnel was destroyed leading from Gaza into Israel.

In Judea and Samaria, Palestinian terrorists mounted “rock” and Molotov attacks throughout Gush Etzion, along the Tunnel Road leading into and out of Jerusalem, Al-Bireh, Walaja, Gilo, Hevron, Hizma, Hawara, Tekoa, and Qalqilya among many other places.

There was another attempted bulldozer attack–the third in the last two days. This one took place at the Kevis Junction; no Israelis were wounded.

If you can believe this . . .

The IDF spokesman issued this pathetic statement this morning about what is likely to happen tomorrow:

“The IDF does not rule out the possibility that the fence will explode and be breached . . .[because of this] the IDF will lay a human blanket of hundreds of reinforcements on back lines that will split between the Palestinians and Jewish communities on the border.”

Say what? This idiotic statement virtually ensures that the fence will be breached–and encourages Hamas to make it happen.

In your humble servant’s opinion, any terrorist who tries to infiltrate should be shot on the spot, “a human blanket” notwithstanding.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Everywhere You Look, Israelis Are Dancing In the Street!

The dancing started last night after Netta Barzilai won the Eurovision song contest.

Your humble servant thinks that it must be difficult for a non-Israeli to understand the euphoria that immediately swept the country. At a moment when we are surrounded by ever more threats on all borders and BDS boycotters are doing their best to isolate us, Netta’s win has released an amazing explosion of joyous emotion.

It was all accentuated by Netta’s comments upon winning:

“I celebrate myself no matter what my size is, how my hair is, how my voice is. I just have to be me, listen to myself . . . I love my country! Next year in Jerusalem!!”

Because Netta won, Eurovision 2019 will indeed be in Jerusalemthe one capital that Eurovision failed to mention in last night’s finals.

When the announcement was made, Israelis went wild:

Dancing in the streets!

The above scene was repeated throughout the country.

This morning the party continues in Jerusalem as Jerusalem Day is being celebrated by Israelis and Israeli supporters from all over the world. At this moment, more than 50,000 are dancing through the streets of our capital singing patriotic songs and waving Israeli flags.

All of this was before the celebrations that began an hour ago with a welcome ceremony for the various delegations that have arrived for the American Embassy move tomorrow.

This afternoon, PM Netanyahu welcomed the American delegation and gave our profuse thanks to President Trump for his decision to move the Embassy and for his decision to withdraw from the Iranian Agreement.

Tomorrow will be a special day no matter how hard the Palestinians try to spoil it–and they will try.

And as for now? We’re dancing!
