The “daily” Corona (Covid-19) update . . .
The following covers the last 24 hours (from 8 am yesterday until 8 am today:
There are 320,661 confirmed cases—an increase of 821
309,840 of these confirmed cases have recovered—an increase of 640
306 are in critical condition—a decrease of 27
135 of the most critically ill are on ventilators—a decrease of 8
2,684 have died–an increase of 6
There are now 10,821 active Corona cases in Israel.
Despite the decrease in the number of daily dead, those critically ill, and those being tested, the Government continues to insist that morbidity is rising and that another lockdown is on the way.
Will Jonathan Pollard be truly free? . . .
As you know, dear readers, Jonathan Pollard is the only American ever to receive a life sentence for passing secrets to an ally of the United States. After 30 years in prison, Pollard was released on November 20, 2015.
However, that release carried with it draconian restrictions on his life including wearing an ankle bracelet, abiding by a curfew, limiting how far he could move from his apartment, and prohibiting him from meeting with journalists or speaking about his situation.
Those restrictions are set to end next Friday, November 20–but they can be extended until 2030 if the U.S. government decides to do so.
We sincerely hope that Pollard will become truly free and will soon visit Israel.

In case you missed the good news yesterday, Saeb Erekat who spent a lifetime attacking Israel in every conceivable venue as “apartheid” and “racist” and “guilty of war crimes and massacres” died in Israel’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Erekat died of Corona after taking up a bed at Israeli taxpayer expense in Hadassah’s ICU Corona unit for almost a month.
Of course, it is no surprise that convicted criminal Olmert–who tried to give away Jerusalem to the PLO back in 2007–would think that PLO terrorist Erekat was a man of honor and peace.
Two quotes from Israeli Knesset members yesterday say it all.
First from Ofir Sofer:
“Saeb Erekat praised terrorists [and] promoted boycotts against the State of Israel . . . How anyone can bring himself to express even a syllable of praise for this man is beyond me.”
And this from Bezalel Smotrich:

Saeb Erekat is gone and the world is a better place because of it.
